Sorry to disturb your undoubtebly well-deserved holidays, but I need a little nudge to fruitfully pass the online contest of This Scene Ain't Dead Festival (which will take place in Halle on nov.2). Starting today, you can vote by liking the picture of the band you want to support: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.553815374674509.1073741825.249298265126223&type=1
The new fat EP (or skinny album, I can't make up my mind) is finally available!
Punchier, more varied in sounds, moods and intensity, introducing some new instruments (classic guitar, harmonica, banjo, dulcimer, e-bow), but true to the same obsessions and brooding feelings that seem to be my trademark.
Pterodactyl Plains are definitively a bunch of gifted musicians plus a nice pack to hang out with! I had the privilege to be a guest at their gig on april 9, and it was pure enjoyment. The result can be seen on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BgeNaMBOk6U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABgIzQOVKhg I will now enter a sort of web hibernation / chrysalis phase. I hope to be back soon with a decent website, a decent demo and a few decent gigs booked. And I can't do that while taking care of all that internet stuff... See you in a few weeks! Laurent
Hi all, My songs and bio have are currently being featured on Rewind: Tape! (http://www.treyc89.blogspot.com) A blog created by electro/dance (and broadminded!) artist CTPLR (http://www.reverbnation.com/ctplr) to help promote indie music. And as you may have noticed, I'll have my maiden gig on nov.9 in Antwerp. Now I'm curiously starting to feel stagefright... Cheers, Laurent
I'm starting my own mailing-list, distinct from that of Ceilí Moss, and to welcome you, I'm giving a free and exclusive track each month. Send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or use the widget on this page to subscribe!
Well, this is just a beginning I hope! Let me invite you to discover my private musical universe. I've been in bands since 1990, and it's time I speak my own language, I guess.
