Orobourus at Volume 11 Sat May 26th

The Warlords of Orobourus will again convene to reek bedlam and chaos at Volume 11 this Saturday. Along for the incantations will be bands Resident Stone from NJ and Earths Collide from Durham. Check out the show for details. It won't be as crazy as the Chicago NATO riots, but what the Hell, we will give it a shot.

Hail!

Spring of Doom

This year is just rolling thunder and were in Spring already. After a bit of a hiatus Oro B. is back in the studio writing new material for its Second Album and Getting ready for the Stoned From The Underground Festival. http://www.caligula666.de/ In July. Our Clerics of O are constantly on the Fringe, whipping up a bitches brew to opiate the masses. We are looking forward to playing out in our home town soon.

Hail...

Jesus Fooking Christ

Thanks to all who came to the Ritual of Rock N' Roll at the Dive Bar Saturn Nite and much thanks to Dogbane for sharing the stage and throwing Down! The Souls of Orobourus are indeed blessed by the Gods of Metal, to be invited to the Stoned From the Underground Festival In Germany this July of 2012. Saint Vitus are amongst the elite of Demons that will be practicing their Incantations of Chaos and Anarchy. Orobourus is headed back to our Dark cave to brood and fine tune Vengeance with Axe and Spear! No rest for the Wicked and Party on Wayne!

Happy New Year

Whoa another year of Mayhem and Destruction. Orobourus is looking forward to our upcoming Dive Bar gig to have our official CD release party. The band is diligently absorbing all the Chaos in the world and transmuting it into Art for the masses. Deception and carnage await us all, so lets make a toast to 2012 and raising Hell with it...

Sat Oct 15 Volume !!

Holly Jumpin Jesus Christ The Volume 11 Show Saturday October 15th is a week a way and I have not practiced. Its Carnage in the making fighting for our lives to deliver OG rock in this City. The Band has been recording, mastering and moving all at the same time, kind of Like Mongo on the drums trying to chew gum and walk. There will be fervor, there will be Anarchy, there will be Mayhem, as we share the stage with all slamming bands to represent. Long live Rock N Roll

Orobourus would like to thank the Raleigh Scene of Rock for showing up and laying down the smack at the Berkley last week. We are honored by the Gods of Thunder to be present with Parasite Drag and Tight Like That. We have a new show at our beloved abode Volume 11 at the end of the month, where Bedlam and Chaos will reign to cleanse this abominable earth from the control freaks of Artificial intelligence. In the meantime as a humble servant to the mighty Orobourus I bid you Godluck and Goodspeed and dont forget to Give them Hell!

Halloween Eve show at Jester's in Fayetteville

We had a great time playing in Fayetteville and would like to thank Jester's for hosting the show, Metal Strength Promotions for setting it up, the bands: Romeo Falls, The Jupiter Tide and The Future is Me for sharing the stage with us, and last but not least, the folks who came out to see the show.

Each band brought something different to the event and all of them are worth checking out. The Future is Me, also from Raleigh, is a high energy five piece band with impressive vocal harmonies and a variety of musical textures within the songs.

The Jupiter Tide from Charlotte took the Halloween spirit seriously with everyone in the band in costume. Hail to the bass player and the Donnie Darko costume (don't know how he didn't pass out wearing that thing). Their cover of Drowning Pool's "Bodies" had the crowd on their feet.

Fayetteville's own Romeo Falls, aside from being a great bunch of guys, are one hell of a band. Unfortunately, their singer Mike was unable to play the show. However, rather than stepping down, they soldiered on (sorry, had to have one military pun...four of the five members are soldiers) splitting vocal duties between guitarist Fish and a special guest vocalist. Had you been unfamiliar with their music before the show, you might not even be aware of the temporary lineup change. These guys rocked!!

Hail!

Supernova on 96 Rock with Salt & Demitri

We sent a rehearsal room recording of our new track "Supernova" to Salt & Demitri of 96 Rock (WBBB) to see if they would like to use it for the upcoming music video they are going to produce featuring our music. We never expected the rehearsal jam to end up on the radio, but it did and here it is for your listening pleasure.

We have since hooked up with recording wizard Matt Horton of Post Pro Studios in Raleigh, NC and recorded a studio version of the track. Mixing is scheduled to take place this week and we will post the studio track as soon as we have it.

Orobourus wants to thank Salt & Demitri for giving us this opportunity and all our fans for helping us get there...Hail!
