I swear my sleep schedule is crazier than ever right now. Ugh having some hard times adjusting to how the real world works... I stay awake for days then sleep for a few hours sporadically. (if lucky) Here I am ranting hoping that someone out there can relate :/ However!! I have come to the realization that there is benefits to being an insomniac
1) There was a Bond villain who had the same "problem" which = Badass 2) You get a lot of Shit done 3) I'm slowly learning how to see in the dark (A.K.A. Riddick)
So my alphabet is lacking Z's
Diamond's aren't forever
So I just got back from the grocery store and feel a little uneasy about how much It cost to eat healthy. In an area where most people survive off walmart frozen pizzas and buy one get 10 free 2 liter soda deals, the price of produce and organic foods are jacked beyond belief. I left with maybe a few meals worth of food and found myself spending just under $94.00 on food. My grocery list?
1 Joesph's Roasted Veg Hummus 1 La Tortilla Factory Smart & Delicious Multi Grain Soft Wraps 1 Pint Hannaford Maine Lobster Bisque 1 Lb of Flounder Fillet
1 Box Casadian Farm Organic Fruit & Nut Cereal 1 Large Bottle of Dr. Bronner's Magic Peppermint hemp Soap 1 Nature's Place Organic Vanilla Soymilk 1 16 oz. Woodstock Farms Organic Peanut Butter (hell yeah it's crunchy)
1 Lb Raw dry Almonds 1 Bunch of Bananas 1 Pints of Blackberries 1 Pint of Blueberries 2 Lbs of Strawberries 1 Bag of Carrots 3 Hass Avocados 1 Lb of Red Vine Tomatoes 1 Package of Firm Tofu 1 Bag of Cherries
So who out there has this shares this concern? I want to treat my body right and eat the foods that matter to me, but at what cost? Expensive or not I know I'm going to be making a solid feast tonight. I just need to figure out how I'm going to convince Stephen to try fish....HELP!
Another productive all-nighter here in the Tokyo Den... We have decided to boycott sleep in exchange for having no lives. In all seriousness I can hear the street cleaners right now and... oh wait that's my brain still trying to function after hours of staring into the heart of the beast that is my computer screen. Give it up for the nocturnal. And as the morning birds chirp I am pleased to inform you that new and exciting things are on the way. Check out Reverb Nation if you haven't already, I can't believe how easy it is to operate.
OMG...I just lost my virginity to Christmas YES! Chapter 21. unbelievable
I've never really been one to over indulge in the Internet. Aside from my brief obsession with old role playing games from the 90's, I spent most of my childhood exploring the hundreds of acres that surrounded my small farm house on the north fork of Long Island. I was always the last to hear about the latest trends, and was never much for "AIM" or any other form of internet chat. I can hardly even text message people. However with the drastic change in how artist go about exposing themselves to new fans I've found myself feeling forced into this new digital realm, stumbling through ever new step of the way. It's just that I've always been better face to face with people. probably because I'm a people persons people person. I was recently described as a real life sponge bob with a nice voice...thanks amanda. :)So now here I am. A year and a half into this band and I'm writing my first blog for all of you out there who might (or might not be reading it)....how am I doing? Anyways. I'm working on it.
Random thought "why do woodchucks always look like they make such squishy and cuddly pets?"
Lets Tokyo is locked away for the first few weeks of summer in search of tweaking, tightening, and perfecting their live set. Be on the look out for new recordings, videos, photos, and plenty of excitement!! Much love- LT
