What a thrill!!! After all these years I came across some of the albums I recorded years ago with "Los Pao" "Trio Los Tajuarines" & "Los Chicanos" I found some albums on iTunes and some with friends that I had lost touch with. It is so gratifying to finally have them for my collection. "Los Pao" was recorded in Mexico City. We had a hit song "La Boa" and we tour all over the Country promoting our music. The members of the group were: Carlos Reyes, Pepe Cervantes, Beto Calderillo & Me (Armando Figueroa) With the "Trio Los Tajuarines" we recorded five albums with Crown Records in Hollywood Ca: "A Night In Mexico" "Saludos Amigos" "Variedad Tempos Musicales" "A Touch Of Mexico" & "Old Mexico" the members were: Luis Rodriguez, Me (Armando Figueroa) & Rafael Rosales. And with "Los Chicanos" we recorded a Latin/American album in Hollywood Ca. The members were: Nelson Velasquez, Robert Rodriguez & Me (Armando Figueroa) On these albums we recorded all types of music like Merengue, Cha Cha Cha, Folk, Romantic, Ranchero and American. It has been a pleasure to have known and played with so many great musicians through out my life and career!!!

I played four months with "Los Tres Amigos" at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada when they had their Grand Reopening at the Santa Fe Lounge. We had a great reaction every night. It was very satisfying communicating directly with the audience. We had a lot of fun and it was the best time we had that year. "Los Tres Amigos" were Pepe Amescua on Guitarron, Me (Armando Figueroa) on Guitar & Ruben Cabañas on violin. We worked together for about four years. "Los Tres Amigos" were only one of many Groups I had or played with. It has been very gratifying to have known and played with so many great musicians through out my life and career!!!
