SHOWS!

Hey guys! Keep checking back for upcoming shows! Also join the mail list as that will put you in the ranks to get stuff!

Spring is springin'!

Well, hello everyone from all over the place! Greetings from Vancouver BC where the very first signs of spring are happening... FINALLY! Personally, I don't dig the cold.

As for me, I'm booking shows for a tour of western Canada in the summer as well as gearing up to back up some really great artists as a guitar slinger (more on this to come...) on their tours. This will be fun for me because as the guy who normally sings, leads the band, writes the songs, does the deals AND plays guitar, it'll be nice to JUST play the guitar. Not that I don't love doing all those other things but as they say, variety is the spice of life.

I hope to see you at some of these shows in what's turning out to be one busy summer. I am stoked about it already. Now, if it were only a liiiiittle warmer...

Hope you guys are all rockin' and in the best of health and in a great place.

Peace and love always, Cory

Summer, mmmmm....

Boy oh boy am I stoked. Or "chuffed" as they say across the Atlantic.

This summer is going to be a fun one, following a fun spring. I'll be playing around Vancouver a fair bit and keeping the vocal chords and fingers limber for some out of town shows this summer. If you're in my town, come on out to a show. I bet you'd dig it. And say hi!

I'll be on the mainstage at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival this summer. It was always one of my goals/dreams to play that stage and it's pretty cool that I'll be getting the chance to crank my telecaster through a PA so large that it could bring down a satellite if pushed hard enough. I'll do my part to make that happen cos hey, imagine if I brought down a SATELLITE! Can you imagine the press I'd get out of that? I think it'd be cool so long as it burned up in the atmosphere because the last thing you need as an artist is to be the guy who "killed several hundred people" by bringing down a satellite with a telecaster.

I'll also be playing the mainstage at Sunfest on Vancouver Island. This should be a blast too. Get a bunch of people all together to celebrate music and life, and there's nothing but good about that, innit?

And my band... sickening players. So good. I'm so excited about playing with these guys. Of course, my longtime musical amigo and close personal friend and consigliere (I loved "The Godfather" 1 and 2....) Adam Gejdos will be there as well. So you'll hear me on guitars and singing, with Adam on guitar, dobro, steel and backing vocals. Adam's awesome. The guy plays it all soooo well and rocks out as much as I do. I've known Adam for a long, long, long time now and the dude is without fault. Either that or he hides it really well... so I'm just gonna keep my eye on him... I'm watchin' you, Gejdos....

On bass and vocals, Rob Becker. He's my favourite living bass player next to Sir Paul. Period. The first time I met Rob he was playing bass for my good buddy Blake Havard (check him out too - you'll love him. seriously.) and it was literally sometime during the 2nd song when I knew that I was going to ask him play on my album. And I did just that after the first set. Tone, kids. Tone and feel. Rob's bass is a warm blanket with a grooving pulse.

And on drums... Pat Steward. I mean... come on... what could I say about Pat that hasn't already been said? Dude's the engine. He's one of the greatest drummers ever to come out of Canada. Nay, the world. And a great dude to hang with.

I'm like... wow... really.... me? Kewwwlllll.... I'm actually kinda giddy.

Anyway, it's gonna be a blast. I can't wait to play for you guys. So we'll see you soon, mmmkay?

Rock on! \m/ Peave. Love.
