HOW MUSIC KEEPS MY SPIRIT HIGH

Sometime in life a person such as myself can have a good day, bad day, hear tragic news, or just lose focus on what goals to accomplish. Since music is pure emotion, i truly believe music can alter a person's spirit regarding the instrumental, deliverance, and momentum of the song. I truly love inspirational songs and will contribute some of my own. But let keep it real; it's challenging to compose a party song if you're not in the partying mood. If my friend gets killed or a close relative passes away, the last thing you'll hear from me is " bounce that ass" or "get money!!". In a since it controls our moves to an extent. I appreciate an uplifting song during some of my most vulnerable moments. Big k.r.i.t's song " the vent" from the returnof4eva EP is a perfect example. The chorus basically states that he knows what we're going thru because he's going thru it as well. Also he needs for us to be stronger because he needs help just the same. That song regenerates power in me. Right now I'm going thru some things in life where i need true uplifting. I pray, talk to GOD thru Christ, but also i turn on my iPod touch and let my beats by Dre beat box blast verses that will soothe my SOUL. This is C-FELLA, over and out.100.

The Future Of Hip Hop Is Critical

With the emergence of emo rappers, coke rappers, rappers with no substance, hiphop has turned into a freaking runway show. Full of mindless people sacrificing their soul for a piece of gold. Just a couple of weeks ago i met a dude that's making little moves in the industry. Told em' I produce, gave em the card, and we discussed business. The guy checked my site, dug the beats, BUT here's where dude lost me: THE DUDE TOLD ME MY BEATS SOUND TOO "HIPHOP"!! What part of the game is that? SO, I believe if we had more positive spitters the game would become more healthy with increased respect from global businesses and communities. Plus we need new regions to come abroad like the north. I'm from the mid-west. I't all about who a know out here. I can't just wake up, shower, throw some gear on, hop on the bus to down and catch 20 industry big wigs walking down Manhattan. THERE IS NO MANHATTAN IN CHI-TOWN. Meaning you super rich rappers help a brother out! At least listen to the flow, take a demo, something that assures a person we're not wasting our time. I mean we're doing all this grinding just to get screwed over anyway right? Until next time this is C-FELLA over and out. 100.
