We have a secret!
Our little secret is actually not so little.......we have a second guitar player! He has been a part of the band for last two months and has been an amazing addition to the sound and the dynamics of the band. We would like to introduce you to Justin Hepperly.
Justin and Patrick have worked out parts where the rhythm and lead parts are shared and even exchanged through a lead . It is exciting to have so much talent at guitars in a band. We had Justin write some things about himself so you can get to know him better.
Justin says that his favorite thing about being a part of Xxile is that "for the first real band he has been in, it kicks ass! HA HA. The guys in the band are great. The music is unique and fun to play." He also adds, " It helps to have another guitarist in the band to bounce ideas off of and come up with cool riffs."
Justin also shared some of influences as well saying, " My Grandma and Dad really got me into music. She was a singer and he plays guitar and drums." Some of the musical influences he listed were, "Eddie Van Halen, Angus Young, Randy Rhoads, Brad Paisely and Stevie Ray Vaughn", as far as guitar players go. Bands that he really feel influence from are AC/DC, Breaking Benjamin, Van Halen, Tool Fuel, Creed as well as so many others.
When asked about his gear he shared that he uses, "Fender guiatrs and likes to play from tube amps, especially Fender, Marshall or Peavey." He feels he still hasn't found his signature sound and continues the search as Xxile pushes forward. He says, "hopefully I find it soon."
You want it.....they got it!
Hello Welcome to the xxciting blog of Xxile! We are writing today because we have been pushing our new single "Sober" all over the country. What we need is a little assistance. You want to hear the new single and we know that stations all over the country have it. So call them up...email them...send them a letter...and let them know that Xxile should be playing on their station. Tip 1. The more you bug them the more they will play it. Mostly to keep you from calling them anymore. Tip 2. Repetition is the key of getting through to someone. Look at little kids. They get it. Tip 3. It is cool if your friends are doing it. Such is life! So light up those lines and clog those email inboxes. We can't do it ourselves. Happy Rockin Xxile
