Prayer request for friend singer / Songwriter David M. Bailey
I just got this mail in from David. David is an amazing soul. Singer/songwriter and great teacher. He teaches us to be authentic and real. He brings us closer to our feelings and our hearts than many. Today - at around 4 he will go into surgery for brain tumors. it is scary sh**** and I ask you - all of my friends here - to hold him strongly in your hearts.... surround him with love.... here are is last thoughts before he goes in, Love, Kara

Still waiting - but if all the ducks line up I"ll be back in the hospital today at 4pm for surgery first thing in the morning. Now I realize that some of you might not know what to say And I wanted to assure you that it's totally ok You don't need to worry that your words might come out wrong Anything you write to me sounds just like a song You might think I'm kidding -- I promise I am not In times like these what matters really is the thought And those thoughts have flown in from all 4 corners of the earth As each new one lands a part of me has a rebirth And the musketeers' old motto starts ringing in my ears One for all and all for one; there is no good cause to fear
So I am here for you just as you are here for me And somehow we'll make it through this minor travesty And yes it really is a small thing; at least, I'm trying to think that way After all, we're all still here and it is a brand new day
God knows I get impatient And that I want this all to end Get back to the stage, back to my family and friends While it's true that God's perfect timing is not mine I am learning that His peace is more than perfect all the time And maybe that is what we're all really after in the end: Peace that passeth understanding; the kind we pass as friends
