Up & Coming

Happy New Years! Hey all, hope 2011 is treating you good so far. Just a quick reminder about our show this Saturday, January 29th. We are at Donna Jean’s Libations lending a hand to help raise funds for the restoration and remodeling of Cactus High School’s press box and sound system in memoriam of Bob Davis and Jack Altersitz. We will be sharing the stage with Big Moxie and What’s Left... so come on out and kick it with us at Libations, we know ya want to. Cheap cover, cheap drinks and cute bartenders.... you can’t go wrong with that. Show opens around 9 pm. We have some great things happening this year and will keep you all posted as they come in... Make sure to book a hotel on February 19th, in Prescott for our Drunken Lass Gig with Abandoned Theory and Jared Blackstone’s (Blood from Stone) acoustic opener. If you haven’t been to Prescott for a show, you’re missing out on some Good Times. Keep in touch and we hope 2011 stays strong for everyone. Peace BRB

Happy Holidays

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the Club Not a creature was stirring, not even an amplifier plug; The guitars and bass were hung by the drum set with care, In hopes that Saint Soundman soon would be there; The crowds were nestled all snug in their seats, While visions of cheap draft beers danced in their heads; And Amanda in her 'corset, and Trevor in Chuck Taylors you bet, Had just warmed up for a Blue Rose Band set, When out in the crowd there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the stage to see what was the matter. Away to the mike Amanda flew like a flash, Jimmy rolled open the volume and cranked it like Slash. With Blades on the bass of the new-driven song Gave the luster of our soul for people who longed, When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer, With a little old driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment it must be Saint Nick........ I think you all know the rest... We hope everyone has a great Holiday Season and a Safe New Years. We will see you all in 2011 The Blue Rose Band Dasher, Dancer, Prancer and Vixen
