Red Light Saints / Blog

RLS Summer 2010

Well, summer is almost upon us, so let's take stock.

Johnny Bell...present Danny...present (possibly broken, but present) Humbe Fernandz...Here! ...And me...I sleep here...always present...sometimes aware...bored and cool ranch dressing (cool & stressing)...

So what are your friendly neighbohood Saints up to? We've been busy and are hoping to get a lot busier real soon. There's alot of exciting and freaky stuff going on in Ottawa, musically speaking. Some of our friends and peers doing some great things and kickin' up some dust in the scene, so kudos to Ottawa music and all those who support it!

The Red Light Saints are about halfway done our second album. A lot of the basic tracking has been done. We got Vox to do. And of course we have all the "over produced Axl Rosey- epi-Rock" stuff to throw in (see- accordian, tuba, keys, and whales mating..) We expect that the album will be in our greasy hands come summer...and hopefully yours as well.

Also, in our ambitious forray into the "interweb"...redlightsaints.com is almost up and running. It's looking pretty handsome as far as websites go...Not a "dudes from Twilight" kinda handsome, but more of that "Dos Equis - most interesting man" kinda handsome. You should be able to go there for everything RLS related very soon. Stay tuned...and stay thirsty, my friends...

We are beginning to book shows for the near future, into summer and fall, so check back with us for a full schedule listing and all other updates.

Coming up...May 16th, Victoria Day Festival @ Juliana Park. and June 4th @ Baseline Station...more 2 come.

Send us a message with your e-mail address if you would like to be part of our mailing list and get all the updates as they come.

I'll end this transmission with a quote:

" Rock n Roll is the most brutal, ugly, desperate, vicious form of expression it has been my misfortune to hear" - Frank Sinatra

Rock on Frank!
