Here comes Winter, so I'm offering you my cool jazzy instrumental "Snow Drift" to brighten your Monday - have fun!
This sunny Sunday I've put my pulse-pounding jazzy piano solo "Sweet As Sunday" at the pinnacle of my RN Playlist - with echoes of the Big Band era, this piece will have your toes tapping to the beat in no time! Be sure to catch the video of my world premiere performance as well.
Today I am featuring my sweet and evocative piano solo composition "Cherry Blossoms", one of my favorite new pieces. Premiered this past June, the music follows the progress of our beautiful front yard cherry tree, from dormancy at the end of Winter, through the first signs of Spring leaves and buds, resulting in that incredible colorful burst of brilliant pink blossoms, and then to the ultimate dropping of the petals onto the ground in a covering of "light pink snow".
This Thursday I have brought my gentle and poignant piano solo "A Child's Prayer For Peace" to the top of my RN Playlist. In today's world of turmoil, I hope my performance brings a little thoughtful quiet to your day.
This Wednesday I am featuring "The Poet", my exciting and moving piano solo composition and performance - you're gonna love it!
Today I am featuring my solo piano composition "The Wedding" at the top of my Playlist - I composed this for the love of my life as a musical gift in honor of our wedding (October 2nd, 2008) in Provincetown, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
This week I'm continuing to feature my unique and beautiful solo piano compositions and live performances on my RN Playlist: 1. Sophie (written the week after my Mom passed away) 2. The Poet (a musical tribute to the life of my Dad) 3. Toccata (my award-winning classical piece) 4. The Wedding (a gift to my spouse, in honor of our special day) 5. Sweet As Sunday (my rollicking big band era jazz tune). I hope you enjoy listening to these as much as I enjoyed writing them. Have a great week ahead!
