This past weekend marked the first LIVE shows for PEANUT BUTTER HAMSTER. We played for some friends at a neighborhood block party on Saturday night, and hit the stage at Summit Fair on Sunday for a great set of children’s favorites, rocked-up our own special way, along with the debut of “BITE-SIZED MINI E.P.”, where we performed all of the tracks from our new album.
The response so far, has been great, and everywhere we mention the name, people love it! With this new CD, we can start promoting and getting airplay, as well as reviews and interviews from several outlets that have already taken an interest.
We spoke on the phone today with a producer friend of ours who is very interested in helping us document the path of what has happened so far, as well as what’s to come, as we launch into the entertainment industry.
5 more songs are in production right now, with 3 already close to being finished, and the rest of the components for the DVD are being organized at this time.
We are tentatively scheduling a full CD release party in October, with the hopes of also unveiling the first DVD (in a series) by that date, as well.

NEWS and INFO for August 11, 2009
