one of my favorite songs, i was so honored to have the opportunity to record this with the amazing talent involved. it also made me realize that it would be impossible to duplicate live, due to the current miniscule budgets. like many of my tunes over the past few years. i quit the band biz last year and now concentrate on when i'm offered recordings, among other things. with Juan G. Covas, Dan Walters, Viviana Clary, scott corwin, drums Also, without a label, manager or proactive agent, it's not worth it anymore. i played live for 35 years straight. check out the solo at the end. http://www.reverbnation.com/jamescrouch/song/16507220-running-on-faith-feat-viviana-clary
happy 70th to Johnny Winter. a BIG influence on me. I know 2 of his drummers. did allot of gigs with one of them. biggest honor for me, is he's listed 2nd here, right after Roy Buchanan. Jeff Beck is in here too. a story on that in a few weeks.
It was a long 50 yrs ago, at age 7 seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, that I first decided I would become a guitarist, at all costs. I had tons of fun along the way. I got to meet allot of great musicians and was compared to many more. I do wonder if it was worth it at times but I did do it my way. For right or wrong. Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Roy Buchanan, Johnny Winter, Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy, BB King, Gary Moore, Tinsley Ellis, Lynard Skynard, Allman Brothers Band, Tab Benoit, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, Rory Gallagher,
