Petition to Stop the Internet Blacklist!

COICA

In the United States, a new law proposal called The Combating Online Infringement and Counterfeits Act (COICA) was introduced last week, and there will be a hearing in front of the Judiciary Committee this Thursday.

If passed, this law will allow the government, under the command of the media companies, to censor the internet as they see fit, like China and Iran do, with the difference that the sites they decide to censor will be completely removed form the internet and not just in the US.

Please see the following article from the Huffington Post for more information.

Platform One

To all my music peeps,

Platform 1 is a complete and total scam. They will feed you all the compliments to lure you into the office and then hit you will a 4,000 dollar proposal. To make matters worse the offer they give you is a boiler plate letter. There is nothing official or customized for you except for your bands name and some song titles that were cut and pasted.

The irony is they throw around these big name bands and the Dare to Dream concert, all while going under a not for profit banner.

Their freaking door bell didn't even work, and the office was abhorrent.

Stay away from these guys
