WHAT TRIGGERED MY CREATIVITY?

Q: What was the one of your earliest ideas that made you realize you should start a band? I'm a fan of TMBG's as well...but your stuff is even weirder! Rock on and all that. A: Didn't happen until I was 15. A mate was being sent down the next day, for robbing chemists and post offices at gunpoint, He handed me a mixed bag of pills, which, unknown to me included some California Sunshine.. When I took them--I took more than one--I thought I was eating amphetamines, so when I found myself in the midst of a full blown trip I didn't know what was going on. I wandered the streets for 6 hours, trying to find my way home, but the endless full-blown hallucinations had me backtracking over and over again--that whole trip is still as clear as day in my memory Anyway, it was about 5:30am when I knocked at a complete stranger's front door thinking my girlfriend lived there; this freaked the householders out, and they called the police. Next thing you know, a C.I.D. officer picked me up, asking me where I live. I told him, and he walked me back there. Now my pocket was full of pills, and I was trying to get them back into the matchbox as we walked. He kept looking over at me, and then asked me if I smoked pot; in a naive voice, I replied, I don't smoke! I am amazed he didn't get suspicious about the noise the pills were making as they trickled into the box? Or didn't act on his suspicion, as he must have heard the noise??? So, why am I describing this incident? It is because, as I was walking along side him, a tune and lyrics came into my head. That was the moment! The Eureka moment in my life, that started a creative fire in me! Perhaps this explains why my music sounds like it is from another dimension; it had such an unusual beginning :) STE VAN HORNE (PANGAEA'S PEOPLE/MUSEBOAT RADIO)

NO TALENT AND NO CLASS!

I am in awe of the rarest of all musicians....those that reciprocate support! Those are the ones that deserve the breaks, because they have the personality to go with the talent!

Truth is, most musicians don't have either!

THE WORTHLESS VIEWD AS PRICELESS; THE PRICELESS, AS WORTHLESS

I reckon the idioms I create would go viral if someone famous wrote them, but, in the public mind, no significance is placed on the creativity of those dismissed as ORDINARY JOES :)

Celebrity status distorts the public's perception to such an extent that the worthless is viewed as priceless, and the priceless, as worthless!

WHY DO I MAKE TUNES?

SIMPLE STEVAN SAYS: If we figured out why we make the tunes we make, we'd stop making them :)
