Spoken Word

I had the opportunity to record some of my poetry this week. Kent Bilbrey Productions, LLC. graciously took on the project. I am only the voice and the words. Kent is the musician and the producer/arranger. These stories are inspired by real life people. Street Corner Sadness was inspired by Jill Mays. You can read her sad story here: http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/THE-FINAL-FAREWELL-Jill-May-s-saga-After-2565159.php#photo-2707650

Be good to one another. Thanks for listening, and take care.

Peace, love and music to all of my friends & fans

I am really in awe. Today we are ranked 257 in Americana for the US, and #2 for Knoxville, TN. I want to thank each of you for supporting us. I had a friend ask me what my inspiration was for my songs. In the several I have here, a love of history, family and adventure are the main themes. I wrote All Along I Was All Alone as I watched the falling autumn leaves after coming back home to live after spending much time traveling. It felt so good to be home, and I realized I never needed to journey far to know myself. Our roots are in our families and upbringing. Kent Bilbrey Productions. LLC is also on reverbnation, and Kent has arranged all of these songs. He and a few other musicians are so talented and they really brought my words to life. You can visit Kent at http://www.reverbnation.com/kentbilbreyproductions Thanks, again. May you all enjoy a beautiful spring full of sunshine!

Did you know that?

What? Huh? YOU are FANTASTIC! Thank you to everyone who is listening, becoming a fan, and downloading! Please sign the guestbook when you stop by! I would love to read your thoughts! Have a great week! :D

Just Another Cry...

Greetings! Just Another Cry From Jackson Avenue is up! While this is not the final version, we wanted to let you all check this one out early. The song takes us on a journey through three tragic Knoxville fires: the Million Dollar Fire in 1897, The Knoxville Market House Fire in 1959, and the recent McClung fires. I hope you enjoy this song and all of the work that has gone into this. Kent Bilbrey Productions is really going all out on the final version of this one. We will let you know when the final version is up. Thanks for visiting us and listening!
