Update + More Tour Dates Added

Hello there, track stars.

So I realize that there hasn't been a new track up in a few weeks. The tour has taken up all of my free time (as well as some of sleeping time) BUT I am upgrading my computer system after labor day SO I will have MUCH BETTER recording & mixing software. You can look forward to more free tracks when I get back from tour in October!

More tour dates were added, so far the west coast schedule is shaping up like this:

9/9 Black Forest, Eugene OR 9/10 A la carts Pavillion, Portland, OR 9/12 Florine's, Seattle, WA 9/14 Luckey's Club, Eugene, OR 9/16 Scottie's Shutters, Brentwood, CA 9/18 Sculpterra Winery, Paso Robles, CA 9/18 The Otter Rock, Morro Bay, CA 9/19 The Airliner, Los Angeles, CA 9/22 Cochise College, Sierra Vista, AZ 9/23 Cochise College, Sierra Vista, AZ 9/25 Shot in the Dark, Tucson, AZ 9/26 Rogue Bar, Scottsdale, AZ 10/1 Meathead's Bar, Las Vegas, NV

So please excuse the mess while I go on tour and rock out along the west coastal areas.

Sept. Tour + Carmen San Diego stole this week's free track

This is how the Sept. West Coast Tour '11 is shaping up... more dates & venues TBA:

9/10 - Portland, OR 9/12 - Eugene, OR 9/14 - San Francisco, CA 9/16 - Brentwood, CA 9/18 - Morro Bay, CA 9/19 - Los Angeles, CA 9/22 - San Diego, CA 9/25 - Tucson, AZ 9/26 - Scottsdale, AZ 9/29 - Las Vegas, NV

Very exciting. Check out more of the details at http://www.joelless.com.

Also, did you notice that I kept saying I was going to post the free track of the week, and then nothing ever came of it? (That really happened... try to stay calm) I apologize for the unseemly delay. Almost all of my time has been taken up by this tour and I still need to mix the recording before it gets posted.

WHOOPS.

Please forgive me, as I forgive the Yankees.

The track will be up tomorrow night online just in time to start out the week the right way (and then back on schedule next week!)... Thanks for listening to my music, and have a great weekend!

Where to find me on the web!

So, basically there are a billion and a half places to find an artist's music online these days. Why the official websites are not the go-to on this cannon, I don't understand-- but I don't understand a ton of things. Why did they cancel Soap without a proper series finale? Why can I find more paying gigs when I type in "justin beiber" than when I type in "saxophone" or "jazz"? How can I get Pauly Shore to stop sending me show notifications on MySpace? These are the things that keep me up at night.

IN ANY EVENT: below are some links to my various domains on the web. I'll just keep updating this as it acquires. Do with it what you will/won't.

Voting for Indie Pop Song Competition! "Whiskey Martini" in the lead!!

http://www.ourstage.com/judge/ordered?channel=109-indie-pop

After less than 2 days, "Whiskey Martini" is currently #23 (woohoo!) on OurStage's Indie Pop Song Competition so far for this month! The judging has just started, so if you have some time to check out a few tunes, vote for "Whiskey Martini"... here's how it works:

Click on the link above and it should take you to the judging page (you may be required to register for Ourstage if you are not already signed up-- I know it's a lot to ask to register for a site you may not use again, but if you have some extra time to be a music snob for me, I'd really appreciate it!!) and you should be presented with four bands at the bottom. Listen to each-- for at least 15 seconds-- and then rate them 1-4. Even if you don't get "Whiskey Martini" you are still helping shape the outcome. THANKS!

I didn't know my song was even enrolled in this contest... What a pleasant surprise :D

I'll See You in Hell, etc. *bonus track* available

This is the first time I'm making this song available on the internet for all to hear. Except for my mother. I don't really want her to hear this one. I have a love affair with expletives. She shies away from using the word "heck."

Anyway, this past week's Friday download is the song "The Edge" from my first album, I'll See You in Hell, etc:

Have a good one and check back next Friday for a new FREE download!
