In order to expand and enhance the Sunset Café sound we have added Tinny on keys and backing vocals. Her honey dripping vocals will bring a new dimension to the café and keys will add a cinnamon sparkle.

Well we've been working hard writing and arranging tunes for the album 'Adventurer'. I'm really excited too because we've been auditioning for the band and that's going really well. I'll give you more news when I have some!!

Life has been extraordinarily eventful since my last post. The last few days especially with two great gigs at Tutto in Weston-super-mare and The Foston's Ash nr The Camp yesterday. I particularly enjoyed playing 'Eastwood Bound' in memory of Sharon and the lovely response that it drew. Thank you everyone who came to those gigs and all the staff at both venues. GREAT news too I now have over 200 fans on my reverbnation page and we've hit Number 2 in the chart. Do you know about The 7 Train? This iconic New York subway route runs through so many varying ethnic quarters that you can experience a round the world culinary voyage by stopping off along route. It's also the title of the new tune we recorded yesterday as a demo and will be up on this site soon. I'm sooooooo excited, it's got a really cool New York groove and I'm really excited to hear the mix - I can't wait!

Well, they say, "From tiny acorns giant oaks doth grow." Don't they?
So the tiny acorn of 'Our Time is Now' has been potted up in the very best available compost. We have been as high as No 11 in the local Reverbnation Instrumental chart so I'm very excited at getting this out to more people. Had some really positive feedback already and have enjoyed playing the tune in my recent gigs. Anyhow, no more time to chat, nose back to the grindstone with new tunes to work up. Have a great week everyone. And, Oh, if you haven't had a listen please do. I can dream of being No 1, even if only one day..........

I really enjoyed the recording session today. Playing my lovely Antigua tenor we recorded 'Our Time is Now' to be mixed down as a demo version. This lovely lilting melody will be one of the tracks on this year's album and has already been aired at recent gigs. I love the mellow groove on this track and soon you'll be able to hear it too. Watch this space........I'm very excited about having it uploaded to this site so that YOU can hear it :-)

Chart Success!!
