Kevin Killen records Pogues song

In honor of St. Patricks Day, I decided to go down to Cambridge Sound Studios and have some fun with a song I've cherished from The Pogues classic album - If I should Fall from Grace with God. This track features Dave Mowry, of Beaucoup Blue, on slide guitar and Cambridge's Devon Baran on piano. Engineered by Todd Mecaughey- Mixed and mastered by Jim Salamone. Big thanks to Pat Close, Sean Close for getting me into the pogues all those years ago. https://kevinkillenmusic.bandcamp.com/track/streets-of-sorrow

An observation over the years...

Just a personal observation from a production/recording standpoint based on certain "fads" that come and go or "cool retro", "Street" concepts. I believe a Lo-fi production/recording should be a creative option from which to choose as opposed to an excuse for the only method one is capable of providing.
