I'm proud to present this new version of my song, *Rhythm Of Our Hearts*, which was originally written to be performed as a duet...and now, with the addition of Deborah Blake's soulful voice, this song has taken on the true meaning for which it was intended. Deborah has been a tremendous help throughout this project and I thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her.
Please have a listen and read about this amazing lady. It is well worth visiting her sites and - like me, you will become a fan!
Deborah is a long time San Diego resident who began sitting in on the local San Diego scene back in 1979 and never looked back.
She formed and fronted Zero Gravity a roots rock and blues band formed in 1998. Over the years the supporting members change from time to time, project to project, creating a large network of awesome players.
While Deborah’s song selection covers rock, blues, country and jazz all her music is delivered with an edgy, soulful blues influence, creating a style and uniqueness people identify as her own. In 2006 Deborah paired up with Kurt Kujawa (guitarist) to work on original tunes to better express her experience and influences over the years resulting in some fun and soulful tunes.

Hi Everyone! It's a great feeling to know that music fans have started down-loading my new album *Special Edition* and I want to share some positive feed-back from people who loved the songs and left comments. "A Hidden Gem of an Album by artist-cat (Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi) Marc Leon may not be a household name in the world of rock music - but like most blues players his work gets noticed by those who appreciate good sounds. A much underrated guitarist and vocalist - his playing is reminscent of Dickey Betts and Eric Clapton, with a bit of Larry Carlton thrown in for good measure. This album is a mix of blues roots music, hard driving rock and jazz fusion. You can hear a bit of Robert Johnson in the opening shots of "Shoot from the Hip" and then pure rock in (my favorite) "No Friends in High Places", which should be a hit single if it ever gets radio airplay. The blues and rock continues until the pace slows down near the end - where subtle yet complex jazz/ rock/ fusion sounds spill out in "Capricornica" and "Escorpia". A versitile and varied album from an excellent musician. It should probably be titled 'the Best of Marc Leon' - but maybe there's more to come... If you like this - get an album by his former band "Whipping Post" called 'Damn the Distance'. It has an outstanding track on it called 'Roll on Central', which unfortuneately is missing from this Special Edition CD. Oh well, you can't have everything..." "This is a great album, wonderful variety of blues, shades of Rory Gallagher especially in the blues-rock vocals. Very enjoyable....by Ceolte" "Whoa! Marc, these are awesome tracks!! Great touch! Love your style... smooth, sassy, feeling, smokey, solid and like you, music has to move me...and when I listen to these tracks I am all over the place!!! Really nice! Really nice!! Thanks - I'll be hanging on every note....*Lix*" It's also satisfying to know that tracks..and the entire album of *Horizons* have been down-loaded, so yeah, I'm pretty happy about it all :) Have a great day! Marc
