Give us a listen

I guess unless we get some more listens, we will lose our "chart" spot on Reverbnation. So please, listen to at least one song, watch a video, whatever! Woohoo, this is fun!

HunkaFunk is rehearsing original music for shows in the Seattle area.

I have found my ideal rhythm section, and HunkaFunk is getting ready to do shows in the Seattle area. I'm proud to be working with Dennis Martinez on bass, and Larry Quetola on drums. We will be adding a horn, and/or keys, maybe a second guitar player, once we have the tunes tight. Give a listen, and see if you would want to hear HunkaFunk live. See you soon in a venue near you. Love and infinite peace, Tim (T.J.) Franklin

HunkaFunk rebuilding live band

I am putting together a new line up of HunkaFunk to play all original (some select covers) shows in the Seattle area. Club owners-give us a listen, it's danceable funky...you decide. I'm trying to hook up with drummer, bass and/or guitar player, possibly keyboard player. I have a rehearsal space with small club p.a. in Kirkland. Anyone interested, drop me an email to: hunkafunk@comcast.net Love and infinite Peace, Tim (T.J.) Franklin

Go Carlos Go!

Carlos Santana is a genius musician, and a courageous advocate for sensible legalization of marijuana. All artists who believe marijuana should be legal should speak up NOW!

Need to network

Tim and Michele from HunkaFunk are looking to network with musicians in the Seattle/ Kirkland area to collaborate, form a gigging band, whatever. We have rehearsal space. Tim plays Bass, and guitar, and sings. Michele plays drums, percussion, and sings background. We have 50+ originals, and know over 100 R&B, funk, reggae, classic rock covers.
