Since 2005 FMHDMS has been bringing up the standards of not just Internet radio, but radio stations all over the world. Not only do the listeners benefit from this station but so do the artists. One listener commented on a feature that he subconsciously desired from a radio station to give. Just because no other stations he had run across offered it, he thought of it as not being needed. He began to listen to the station and saw something offered that he never saw before. While the songs played, the radio station gave information about the artist, where to purchase their Cd's, and other information that a fan would desire to know. With simple features like that it made enjoying music easier. This is the reason why the station ranges from 500 to 2,000 different listeners daily. The music played on FMHDMS brings the term inspirational music to the next level.
This station encompasses not just positive and moving music, but music that makes you feel good! They combine the entities of Jazz, R&B, and Gospel music, Talk, and Inspirational messages from Ministers. The music played throughout the day leaves a smooth atmosphere to the room. This is the kind of station that you can leave on all day and all night. This kind of radio didn’t just appear of thin air though. This was guided with the collaboration of two awesome and brilliant minds that had experience in radio for years; Vince Horsey and Simone Malone.
In 1995 Vince Horsey decided to start an Internet radio station even when internet radio wasn’t in its prime. After running the station for ten years he contacted an influential voice of radio that had been on the scene of radio and television for over two decades. This person was Simone Malone. He quickly and precisely brought professionalism and quality to the station with his expertise in radio and knowing what people liked and looked for in radio. Simone Malone’s methods compelled not only listeners from regular analog radio stations but also the fans of other Internet radio stations, ministry, and other hosts. He realized the thing that many radio listeners were looking for in radio, greatness. He began to be known as “The Radio Feel Good Man”.
Despite the unique diversity of the radio station, Simone Malone has a heart deeply rooted in Jesus. As soon as he began other great men and women began to see the greatness and necessity of his leadership in radio. Under his administration several radio personalities have evolved from the station. With their unique styles this made FMHDMS very different from other radio stations. He made sure to provide avenues for ministries and new artists to reach the people that needed to hear them. He even keeps a personal and professional relationship with every artists and ministry that passes through the radio station.

The Regular radio stations are starting to die. Regular radio listeners are tuning in to another move of radio.
They are tired of two good songs they love to hear followed by ten bad songs. Even more are starting to get tired of every song on the radio sounding the exact same way. As this country gets more diversified and as more musicians and artists evolve their music styles, the listeners are looking for a change. They are turning to Internet radio; but not just any Internet radio station.
With tons of Internet radio stations starting on the radio, there is a great deal of competition. These radio stations attempt to appeal to listeners with the same strategies regular analog radio stations have been using for decades. Some have the same old artists that have been around without searching for the new movement of music. Others shut off after a certain hour leaving listeners without anything to listen to. Even more leave listeners, which are trying to get into listening to internet radio, confused about how to listen with having too many technical difficulties or over complicated websites.
