Wild and Wooly

Bit of a crazy weekend all things being said. The boys and I debuted our stage show on Saturday night at the Mainstreet Eatery in Stony Plain. We were fortunate to be able to follow Duane Steele, Jake Mathews and Sean Hogan. What was really nice is that we were able to keep some of the people that came to see them and even had folks dancing to our original tunes. Sunday came and my management team at Dog Rump Creek Music had Charlie Major over for a private event at The Tavern. Again, I got to spend some time with Charlie and gain some valuable advice. How can anything Charlie Major says not be valuable advice. Then Monday rolls around and, you know that Twitter thing, The Road Hammers and Jason McCoy are now following me...... Okay, but I think it's cool. New pics to post later this week. Stand by.

2014...... HIT IT!

Well, here we go....Should be a bit of a whirlwind start for me. We are finished in the studio this month and putting the video for our first release together. I am hosting a new Songwriters Social & Open Mic that happens every other Saturday at The Mainstreet Eatery in Stony Plain. My good friend Steve Newsome will be joining me for the kickoff on Jan 11 at 8:30. Check Steve out on RN as well. Then we have an auctioned off house concert in support of YESS. Am I done yet? No!

February 22 comes along and my band will be debuting after some great Canadian talent, Duane Steele, Jake Mathews and Sean Hogan perform. We will provide the dance the night away tunes. Looking for my first radio release in late Feb or early March leading to a brief 4song set at Parklands Got Talent intermission on April 12.

What else? Oh yeah, work, dad, husband and socialize with firends......Later all!!

Merry Christmas

Well, the day is tomorrow and after that we all embark on the next step of this ride we call life, 2014. Musically, 2013 has been an interesting trip. I look forward to 2014 and meeting a whole new slew of people as I take this to the next level. Our music may not be the same, but our thoughts, caring of family and the path we have chosen, comes with the same commitment and worry. As you move onto 2014, care for your family, care for your music and remember to care for each other.

From me, Bradly Tucker, my band, Laurent Arams, Jim Olson and Ken Morgan, from the crew at Dog Rump Creek Music, Jazz and Tannis Matthews, Taelore and Breydon Matthews and from all of our families to yours, be safe, be kind to one another and Merry Christmas.

See you in 2014!
