TOMMY GUNN’S REUNION SHOW AT THE BOWERY ELECTRIC, N.Y.C.

Thursday April 1st, a beautiful spring night in N.Y.C. and what better place to be than THE BOWERY ELECTRIC for a night of killer rock and roll? The NY underground faithfully turned out in droves for this special reunion event promoted by none other than the legendary Tommy Gunn and his cast of characters. With a line up of talent including; ATTENTION DEFICIT SOCIETY, Ray West & "ALL POINTS WEST", BRAD FACTOR 10, L.A.'s DIRTY PENNY, and more, the show drew over 1100 people to this very cool Lower East Side venue that holds just over 600. Each band played a three song set to an electrified crowd starving for an original "music scene" that has long since vanished from the greatest city in the world. The bill was very well rounded and included some of the best bands NY has to offer. ALL POINTS WEST were awesome with their "drop c tuning" and raw power. BRAD FACTOR 10 was extremely entertaining with their "party vibe" and crazy stage antics. ATTENTION DEFICIT SOCIETY'S lead vocalist, Charlie Sabin wound up doing a "last minute" solo acoustic set when one of their members was unable to make the show, & L.A.'s DIRTY PENNY did their brand of straight up, in your face "arena rock". The rest of the bands were just as good in their own special way and added to the all around "great vibe" of this show. Hats off to everyone involved for bringing back original rock to N.Y.C., if only for one night!

MIKE SUPPA , VH1'S SOBER HOUSE STOPS BY;

Long time friend and guitarist MIKE SUPPA (VH1's SOBER HOUSE, AIC's MIKE STARR)stopped by the studio recently to lay some guitar tracks for the upcomming debut record from New York Rockers, ATTENTION DEFICIT SOCIETY. The song "WOULDN'T WANNA BE YOU" features some tasty solo work and includes the use of a very cool, yet seldom used guitar effect called the "Talkbox". Mike recently flimed several episodes of VH1's SOBER HOUSE with his friend Mike Starr of ALICE IN CHAIN'S that will be aired sometime in Jan./ Feb. of 2010. As part of the show, VH1 shot live concert footage of MIKE STARR (AIC), STEPHEN ADLER (GnR),MIKE SUPPA,and others performing live at a venue somewhere in L.A. Check your local listings for more information. As for ADS, they have been busy mixing several songs that will be available shortly on I-Tunes. The band also continues writing and recording at PRIME TIME STUDIOS, Mt. Vernon, N.Y. with producer Tarik Solongi at the helm. To keep things interesting, the record will feature many "special guest" musicians as well! Thank you for your continued support! Stay Tuned!
