Starting 2014 Off Right

We've played together for about thirteen years. Over those years, we've grown together musically and experienced each other's hurts, failures, joys, and successes. We've learned scores of tradtional tunes and made many of them our own. We've written a lot of songs. A LOT of songs.

We began recording last year (2012). Primarily Adam and myself because a move two years ago separated us from our David by an hour and a half and getting together became difficult to say the least. So, Adam and I picked our best originals (plus a fiddle tune or two) and just started recording them in our home studio. Before we knew it, we had a complete/incomplete album. It was missing David. So we called him up and said, "Dude, it's time." We began adding his vocals and all of the sudden there was Good Medicine.

Dave brought an original with him this past weekend. After 10 years of writers block, our best friend wrote Whipper Wind (we still can't agree on how to spell the title, but oh well). Having that song on our debut album is - well, there are no words for how wonderful it is to have that song as part of our repertoire.

Good Medicine's album Walkin' Jerusalem will be ready in April. Just in time for the playing season!

Love and smiles from us to you! Adam, David, and Malinda
