We all know the scripture "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:22-23. Sometimes we say those words flippantly when times are good. But when the rubber meets the road and we encounter difficult circumstances, those words don't flow quite so easily. Why is that? Do we truly trust in God's faithfulness in every area of our lives? My prayer is for the lover of my soul to speak those words into my heart so that "even in my darkest hour, even when all hope seems gone. I will trust in His great power...." As the psalmist wrote in Psalm 69:30 - "I will praise God's name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving," my heart will do the same. Will you join me? I posted a scratch of a new song - I Will Trust In You. I hope it encourages you.
Do your plans always work out the way you expect them to? Do things happen in your life that you scratch your head and wonder, "How did that happen?" Sometimes, we encounter different paths in our everyday journey of life that have bumps and mud. BUT God is Good! He can turn those bumps into beautiful jewels and the mud into flowing water. As we put our hope and trust in Him on a daily basis, we are resolved that HE is in control of our lives as we surrender to Him. So when things don't work out the way you plan and they even seem troublesome, just look to God! Think about Joseph when he said, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done..." Genesis 50:20. Let God do His work in you. Let God accomplish His plans in your life because He IS Good!
I woke up this morning thinking about eagles. The Steve Miller Band's - Fly Like An Eagle came to mind. The time is now at hand for us to press in to the Lord even more. We may be tired and weary, "BUT those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31
A few days ago, I posted a new song, You Are Faithful. This song came about actually a few years ago when I was going through some really tough times. The Lord spoke to my heart and reminded me that He was faithful to complete the work He has begun in me. This song became less about me and more about the body as a whole. I believe the Lord is speaking to all of us about the call He has on our lives. We can place our trust in Him for all He has done and stand in awe of who He is. When we go through battles and are scarred from them, He tell us to stand firm and see His salvation. Ultimately, we are living for Him and when we lay down our lives, He gets all the glory. So ask Him to tear down the walls built all around us and inside us. He is faithful to help us win the war! Be blessed!
How cool is it when God speaks to our hearts ever so gently. He told me He was giving me a song about water. Before getting the lyrics and melody, He had me look up scriptures about water. I am excited about getting this one recorded as soon as possible. Some of the lyrics: "You quench the thirst within my soul. Your joy in me, it overflows. I am watered by You..." My prayer is that you will dive deep in the refreshing waters of our Loving God!
Today we are launching our page to promote our group. We hope you enjoy the music!
