My five year old reminded me that all of the experiences we have, good or bad are opportunities for learning. It's our choice to learn the lesson... yeah, she actually said that! She went on to let me know that even though she is "only a kid" she has lots of thoughts! that's my kid Allright! Happy November. xo
Clouds float by, Pieces of my life. Through my eyes-retinal lights. Condensing matter;like my thoughts. Materialize;Exist;Permeate;Dissipate. Those words you spoke about you and me, and love; We come together for only a moment, Like Clouds.
Sunshine on the mountains, tiny wings that learn to fly Winter trees laid bare, beneath a morning sky. I’ll let my heart open, let myself be free To feel this burning ember glow inside of me. O! Beautiful, they tell me it can’t be real But it sure feels good, I love the way it makes me feel. O! Beautiful, and this is how I heal. I’ll find a way, I love the way you make me feel. -from “Beautiful” by Who’s Judith
I close my eyes and see you, shining down on me. You radiate perfection drawn from The stream. All I want is YOU to see me, all I want is YOU to be with me, all I want is you to teach me. And the difference between you and me, it's in me. We're traveling at lightspeed. Becoming what we seek, what we fear, what I already am. O! What is this thing I call ME? All I want is YOU to see me, all I want is YOU to be with me, all I want is YOU to love me and the difference between you and me, it's in me.
I've always spent time wondering who I "am"... I'm not the only one, poets, philosophers, people of all ages have always asked these existential questions. It's one of my favorite lines in Alice in Wonderland; "WHO ARE YOU?" Today, I remember, tomorrow I will forget but lets have a moment here, now... together.
