Lisa Seda Acoustic

I'll begin my story on Dec /14/2011.This was a pivotal day of my return to music.I wrote a series of new songs.I needed to get off my chest, and have not performed in over a decade , and was a bit nervous , but excited to say the least.. But my return was bitter sweet for I was in fear I'd never sing again , for I was diagnosed with tumors related to thyroid cancer ,and was to be operated on 2 months later after valentines day. This is my performance live in my home studio recorded by my husband J.Seda & fellow musician of Generation Project.I was recorded using a single Nuemann TLM 103 microphone , playing a Gibson J-160 acoustic guitar , onto a BOSS 1600 digital recorder. You may recognize some of these tunes. But this is the way they were meant to be. Me being myself, just me ,and my guitar ! Come feel my passion ,and take a journey back in time . This is Me Lisa Seda Acoustic !!!

Just entered Artist Signal a competition of musicians and artist from around the world this is a first for me to venture out into this realm of competition is something I just never did.. After being encouraged to try by friends and family I decided to give it a shot although I am far behind others to catch up to the top , for me it is about the experience and the challenge to try and to share with others... all you need to vote is a facebook account , you can even vote every hour! on https://artistsignal.com/lisaseda Competition ends the 31s of Sept so I have a chance again to try.. so hey am grateful for that... Thank you always for your continued support/friendship to my friends family, followers much love and peace to you All, always... Lisa

Blue and House of Dreams

Am feeling Grateful to share in two collaborations this past month Blue was a draft melody that was shared with me by Matthieu Coquard a wonderful French original artist on Reverb as well .. immediately I saw the vision throughout the first bar line in chorus I'm going crazy .. I began to then think about the universal feeling we all have had about feeling crazy at any moment in time for a good reason or negative one . Picked up the pen and all these words just began to flow as well for the music in the bridge that I created with my guitar that seemed to all fit with Matt's music for the entrance of the song . This is my first Vocal collaboration on reverb..Matt's distinct French style /vocal was great! To work with giving me full coincidence in the visions Am appreciate to have been able to share with this creative track also with the video that has been posted on Reverb and youtube . House of Dreams song written by Joe Figg also a fantastic original composer from England on reverbnation as well who asked to collaborate on his composition House of Dreams a great song very different from my own style was definitely a challenge I wrote the words and sung it with the premise that moments are timeless we can hold on to those memories we have.. we can revisit and say Hello!! Joe had such patience and really worked on this track with the mixing and mastering adding elements with his unique blend ambient style in England .. Was a joy and a honor to have been a part of both these wonderful projects ...Much love and peace 3 to All :)

Want to say thank you to my thoughtful friends who have taken the time to listen and support my music ! Haunt me was voted number one video this month in share your music group page on fb. Am so grateful, it is because of others who take the time to support / listen to me and many artists that we are able to have the courage to share and continue creating and doing what we love!! Haunt me is a deeply personal song that I wrote reflecting on loss... The video I created was a expression of that message in the song that stemmed from raw emotion ...Thank you for allowing me to share ,I appreciate you all so much 3 Always Lisa xoxo

On The Wall

"Its funny how time goes by counting seconds one by one.. close your eyes take your mind to another place in the sun.. loneliness takes its toll from a child to some old soul.. Turn around look behind you count the numbers on the wall ..you take for granted what you want to its just the same old song" On the wall was inspired upon reflecting about the many lonely and and homeless. Growing up in NYC, living around the corner at the time from a homeless shelter wishing somehow things could be different , now years later the shelter is no longer there but yet poverty and homelessness still existing there and abound all over the world.. http://youtu.be/Tt54WNHNYXQ

Steve am forever grateful to even have had a chance to communicate and to get a response is something that will always treasure , truly a real inspiration growing up trying to find my way, becasue of artists like her who beg to differ ,showing one can find their own path ...bless you friend :):), Lisa

One song at a time...I was inspired to write/play and record all the songs on Longing on my own, Using a irig I plugged in my guitars , added bass lines and figured out the progressions to add some other instruments on other songs ..all along Through trial and error following my instincts Stayed up many late nights putting down the leads and vocal tracks , then fininally mixing and putting it altogether .I tryed my best to express the heart of what I was trying to convey in each song through melody and words. So happy to share with others...the heart of inspiration will always be others , Who have showed me there's always another way to express yourself through words and music ...I wiill count my blessing today and always bless you , Lisa 3333

Good move. In that same amount of time you could have gone through three different collections of players and still not ended up with a completed recording.
