Real Talent is

Real Talent is always overlooked because there is so much of that other stuff in the way....the other stuff is whatever you want to call it...I see tons of great talent in all aspects of life getting overlooked cause the world is so caught up and celebrates something thought of as talent....the good thing is that other stuff comes and go's...talent is here to stay....T minus 10

Word!

Look at yourself

Successful people realize that working hard doesn’t always lead to the desired outcome, and that life isn’t always fair. There will always be someone who felt they deserved something more than the person who got it. But don’t feel bad for gaining success.

Use any success as a positive tool to find more success for yourself. Don’t complain! Take responsibility for your situation!

Little Things Lead to the Big Things

As your band grows, the opportunities will grow as well. What seemed huge the year won’t seem so big when you take the next steps on your journey. What is important though is realizing how much the journey matters, and that without those little stepping stones, the bigger dreams never would have even made it within reach.

After all, a successful music career isn’t built off of one big thing. It’s made up of a million smaller things. Everything from you taking the time to learn an instrument to supporting others and growing a positive network of people plays its part. So when you’re famous and looking back on how you got there, I expect that you’ll be staring at a million small dots that connected along the way.

Little Actions Make Big Music Careers

The thing about trying to make it in the music business is, people are always looking for big things to happen. You want to get signed to a record label. You want to sell thousands of CD’s. You want to tour the world, buy yourself a nice place and have people everywhere know your name.

The problem with all of this is that we look at these big events like they’re a million miles away, and the only way we’ll get there is if some other huge thing leads us there. Well, there definitely is a way to get there, and the actions that will lead you there aren’t as big as the results you’re looking for. It’s the little things that count….

Celebrating to Further Your Career

Looking back, there were so many moments that I felt like giving up, like nothing could ever possibly come of my dreams. But in hindsight, they were all completely necessary to get me where I am now.

More importantly, I realized how important it is to celebrate success, at all levels. Take a moment and really appreciate achievements (big and small). This is a healthy and positive way to feel really great about your project and its direction.

The Only People Who Know True Success Pushed On Far Enough to Get There

And there’s no reason to believe that this happens overnight. Starting to work toward your dreams is the most important thing you can do. You’re not going to be a great guitar player the day you pick up the instrument. You’re not going to be an amazing singer the first time you try and sing. And you’re not going to be able to enjoy a successful career in anything you want by just wishing it to happen; you have to start working toward it.

Live For the Moment

Living for the moment isn’t settling for where you are; it’s appreciating the moment as part of the ride. If you want to be touring the world and making big money, keep your actions focused toward those goals every single day, but respect where you’re at right now too. If it wasn’t for the present, you’d have no place to take the actions that will lead you to accomplish the goals of your future.

Signs that your on the verge of "making it"

1.You’ve stopped looking for shortcuts. 2.You’ve realized that the most valuable vehicle for success, other than being good at things and achieving them, is learning from failure. 3.You’ve taken bits and pieces from those who are successful in your field, but ultimately have developed your own unique voice and position.

Real Talk

“I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.”

Success

Action is the foundational key to all success. Imperfect action is better than perfect inaction. Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm
