We're in the final days of mixing for our debut EP and it's been a great experience. Great in that I. The studio you can see your songs come to life in a way that you can't on stage, especially as a three piece.
Not to say that the suck moments weren't there. Nothing accentuates a mistake like hearing it played back at high volume on studio monitors.
It'll be done soon and hopefully it will be enjoyed by many.
What a night it was... It was great to have everybody come out and join the fun.
To be honest, the night was a blur and I didn't even finish my second beer after the show. The adrenaline was running high and it took me a day or so to really come down.
My worst moment was when all the guitars in my rack almost fell during a switch, unbeknownst to me, the Martin decided to try and do it again after I walked away (thanks John and your lightning reflexes).
Looking back, we learned some lessons but most importantly, we had a good time. I hope that showed to the folks in the audience.
Ready for the next one, bring it on!!!
