Been working on some new tunes! Can't wait to play them live this weekend at our gig.
What a great weekend! Lots of family and a cool gig at Oak Hill tavern. Had a blast!!!
Been working on a new song that I hope to record and release in the next couple of weeks. Now, if only my cold will go away so that I can!
Wow! What a great show this past weekend at the Legion Bowl Pub - Pub On Park. We were all treated to an opening set by the amazingly talented and infamous Shorty James, fastest piano in the East! I'll be posting video & pictures soon!
Well, summer has officially ended and boy did we have fun! We played many shows with many folks. From rib fests, to pubs to Chinese Restaurants with the 'Ole Commander. We even had a MoJo Hammer reunion! Looking forward to what the Fall season brings! Cheers!
Wow! Got 3 gigs this weekend! We are busy bees! Love it :)
Great to reconnect with Mark Cutler last night at The Stage Door. He played some great new songs and some from his CD "Sky Lo Lo" which Tex & I had the pleasure of recording with him several years ago. Those songs take me back!
Just scored two more gigs, at Fire House Tavern in Blackstone MA.....but I can't post them because they're not on Reverbnation. Details to follow!
Yesterday was a long day on the computer. Much of my time devoted to creating two business cards for my two very different businesses. Very proud :) But as I was patting myself on the back for a job well done, a friend pointed out a spelling error....after the cards were printed! Dang it! My poor, tired eyes did NOT catch that...so it's back to the drawing board! Lesson....stop working when you're fried!
After being in sunny LA- LA land for the last decade, we've done the unimaginable....moved to New England in the middle of the winter arriving right before the blizzard of '13! Are we nuts?!!? Well, yes, but that's besides the point. And so starts our Hobos On Ice tour. We've been hitting some great open mics in RI such as, Bishop Hill Tavern-Johnston hosted by Jeff Tanner, Bentley's -Scituate, Cady's (our old stomping ground)-Glocester, both hosted by the lovely and talented Lori LaCalle, and The Nutty Scottsman -Glocester hosted by jam band Rat Ruckus. Having fun meeting and jamming with some old and new friends :) Waiting for the snow to melt so we can venture out a little further.......
