Well we survived this weekend. I must say it was rejuvinating to say the least. We travelled to Kane Pa which is about 2 hours away from our home base. We went there to play at a Roller rink that is owned by some friends. It is always a good time to go see them. After we played there it became apparent that we needed to play again in Kane. We spent the whole night and next morning trying to find a show. We finally did!. Thanks to the folks at the Arlington Hotel in downtown Kane. They had no idea what to expect and neither did we. I must say that I and the mates were pleasantly surprised. It was so amazing to get a whole bar on their feet and dancing to completely new music to them. God I was on cloud 9. We played long and I am glad we did. We left that bar with everyone on their feet and screaming for more. We will be back soon. So to surmise after work and play and play and play I had to return to the real life and work. So until next time The REVOLUTION rolls on.
So today I , Sean, find myself sitting around and thinking about the future of music in my town. We hail from Erie PA and I love it here. Lately, I have noticed a shift in the norm. A few years ago we experianced an influx of new coverbands and they seemed to be taking over. I use the term taking over not as a negative but as a description of the general consensus here in Erie. Local music and music in general has always played a huge part in my life so I continued to plug along with what I was doing and disreguard the rest. Now, it seems that the tides are changing again and I am so freaking excited to see this. Some of our veterans are writing again and the new guys are cutting their teeth. This scene is growing and I hope it is as well in your area. VIVA LA REVOLUTION. Sean-Patrick
So today I am going to share with you the mesmerizing sound that has been crooning to me off and on throughout the day. They are fairly new in comparison with bands that I’ve talked about prior, but their sound is promising. Regardless I find that I enjoy this band, and the music they have shared. Hmm, I guess I should share the name of this new band that has caught my attention, so without further rambling and insane meanings I give you…
