We need some help funding our DEBUT EP!

With all the costs we're having to undergo for this EP, we're beginning to feel overwhelmed. This show is a top priority for all five of us, and nothing is going to stop us from delivering this EP in full glory to all of you.

The plan is to release the EP, along with a music video to debut on March 26th for the EP Release show at Scout Bar. We also hope to have more merchandise than ever before to sell at this show. We want to make new shirts that showcase the artwork from the EP, as well as order more of the plain black logo shirts. We'd love it if we could design and order more wristbands, hats, buttons, and stickers as well, since at the moment we've only got a few of the plain logo tees left, and a few of the old wristbands. The cost of the EP's production alone will run us about $1,300, and that's already coming out of pocket. If you followed us last year, you know we played the Project Independent show and almost won, this year we're already booked with them to play again, but they need a deposit of $175 due by March 15th. The copyright and trademark is going to run us roughly $300, and the music video could be anywhere between $800 and $1,500.

If we reach our goal of $1,000 it would help fund our production of merchandise, cover the cost of Project Independent's deposit, fund the music video, Copyright and Trademark.

We're hoping to generate some attention from the big wigs here with this release. If we can show labels that we've got a professional music video, a professional EP, professional merch, and a professional look all funded by you all, we can hopefully get somewhere. We need this release to be as big and flashy as it possibly can.

So if you are willing to help out, please click this link and donate anything you can! There are awesome rewards for different donations.

Success!

Haven't been on this thing in a long time, but for anyone who reads these, here ya go!

We've been incredibly busy since my last post about our first show. Written some new songs, recorded some more (not professionally yet though, sad face). But we've got a ton of shows coming up, all of which are really important and big shows! We're making friends with so many great bands and supporting our local scene every night we can.

Let's see. Right now it's May 27th 7:32pm. We've got a huge show June 8th with Day of Reckoning that I cannot wait to play! Rusty Cooley was my idol for awhile and it will be great to share the stage with him and his band. Lots of talent scouts checking out Day of Reckoning, maybe they'll come a bit early and check us out too! ^.^

June 12th we've got a Battle of the Bands that we're pumped for. I know we're playing with The Audran Sequence (Saw those guys play a week or two ago, man. Great musicianship there, jeez. Love it!), Fallacy (Love those guys, great friends), Oceans of Slumber (Oh my god! Freaking professionals here. These guys are simply amazing. Check them out.), and a couple other bands that I haven't had the pleasure of seeing yet. The bands are judged by a Sumerian Records representative, and whoever wins will open for the 2013 Rock Star Mayhem Festival! Whaaaaaaaat! Fingers crossed we win this one. We're gonna bring everything we have and pour our hearts out!

June 29th we stroke up a deal with Warehouse Live to host a monthly "metal night." This month it will be Death Metal. We've got Us, Zone of Inhibition, Kleos, Desecrate the Faith, Demoniacal Genuflection (Same guys as Oceans of Slumber), and Dysmetria on this bill. This is going to be a night you don't want to miss. All 6 bands are absolutely incredible, all put on one hell of a show. If all goes well and Warehouse Live sees it as a success, Black Standard will host a metal night EVERY month that we can theme however we want! Power metal night, thrash metal night, cover band night, whatever we want! So let's make this a success!

October 26th we're playing on the Project Independent tour! It's broad casted to 100's of thousands of people world wide shot in HD. This is a huge show that goes on for 12 hours. We are honored to be playing in this, supporting our scene and starting some epic pits. Make sure you're there and keep up with the news!

We've got some more shows coming up too. June 22nd, July 17th, September 20th, but all the details aren't 100% worked out yet, so I don't want to say anything

Just make sure you follow us and keep up to date, and buy your presale tickets!!

Signing off. You cannot kill the metal... -Cooper
