I'm back

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days. I have been on the road with my good friends Buster Jiggs. 3 shows in 2 days is a little harder than it sounds when you drive 3 hours down and 3 hours back........in the same 12 hours.

It was fun though, got to try out my new pedals and it felt great to have my ol Les Paul back.

I hope everybody is gearing up for the week, I've got a good feeling about this week for everyone!

Talk to you later,

Austin

New Gear and Old Gear

I finally got my '78 Les Paul back in working order after it being out of commission for a couple of years.

I also decided it would be a good idea to get a couple of new guitar pedals to help me recreate the sound of the record.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Sept. 11th

The show tonight went well. Everyone that was lost in '01 deserves a moment of silence and everyone that tried to keep them with us deserves our utmost appreciation.

I can't imagine what it must have been like to be in either situation but have the highest hopes that each person, with us or not, feels my love.

I hope everyone had a great Patriot's Day and has an awesome week!

Welcome!

My name is Austin Gilliam. Welcome to my Blog. I hope to make this a very common experience for all of you and myself.

I recorded my debut ep called Sunshine a few months back and I am expecting to have the physical copies at the end of Sept. 2012.

I have been a professional musician for 6 yrs. now and just recently broke out on my own from being a sideman. I live in South Austin which is a beautiful and tasteful area. I play all around the state of Texas and sometimes up through the midwest. I invite you to listen to my music and hope you enjoy it.

I'll be back soon,

Austin
