2 weeks to go!
Well, in 2 weeks time, I will be flying to Australia to meet up with my dear friend and musical colleague Rosemary Hodgson. Really excited that we will finally get together to play in real time with the extraordinary Harp-Lute- so far I have heard it on skype, but slight distortion and time delay has made it very difficult to sing along. A couple of new lute and theorbo songs to add to the programme as well.. Seems a lot of work! but we have been offered a residency by the Bundanon Trust where we can work on the programme in splendid isolation, and perhaps also have a little look at some medieval trouvere and troubadour music...- but that will be towards a project for another year... Bardos Band
First rehearsal for ages with my medieval group yesterday- Bardos Band are doing our first gig of the year on 9th August at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. It is a free event at 1pm in the foyer of the hospital, followed by playing in the wards. If it's near you, please drop in.
