Cosmic Arson / Blog
a BIG announcement...
Cosmic Arson welcomes: Reginald P. Spaulding as our bassist! Now we're going to the next level...baby...
400 RN Family!
As of today, we have exactly 400 Reverb fans, and counting I'd like to think...ha! The responses we've received and all the people still coming in has been really generous. You've all been a great motivator.
Stay with us cause the building process still continues...
What's Money?
Thanks to all our listeners! The song plays have been really tallying up in numbers, and I'm so glad to see the music being shared and noticed a little more. That's the point, right?
Ears are money to us...
Ugly and Beautiful
Been reviewing our new demo tracks. Sometimes you never know how good it actually sounds until you kick back and listen. I guess when practicing I'm just too focused on my performance overall. But we got some new things brewing.
I mentioned a little about our progressive stuff, but we also will be getting some fast ones in there! Dirty street Punk kinda stuff with Thrash Metal. Crossover? Maybe. Fury done the Cosmic Arson way...could be hairy and beautiful.
Some New Blathering...
Well, we got a new song. Chocked full of attitude on this one. But, we crossed over to our progressive side, jamming out random stuff. So there's some longer Cosmic Arson songs to come in the near future...as well as shorter songs, but they're all unusual and catchy. We expect a lot of songs to work with in the future. Speaking of the future, we want to get someone to play the keys later on...that would make us really cosmic-like and other things...haha!
Make it the best way it can be, right? Right! Very excited to see what's on the horizon...
Feels Like the First Time...
...and it was! Just added a track at the bottom:2nd Take One Mic.
We came up with this song in six hours of practice. Bit by bit we put it together, jammed it out once, then recorded it. Honestly, the first time we played all the way through ever was the better version. This was basically the birth of the band right there...the name was decided on that night before we created this first song as our theme song, or whatever you would call it. All I did extra was sneak in some background bass to fill it in...and here you have it.
Enjoy!
Radar Love
Right now every facet to this band is on radar. Everything is "in the wings" of something. It hasn't been easy...but the payoff always outweighs the work put into this. That's how its been for us so far.
What about Beans?
Cool beans...our video is getting more views as of lately. More like a random slideshow, but we hope the music is more entertaining, of course...
