The Dallas Morning News announced the coming of the Heidi Zettl Band to Watters Creek in Allen, Texas. Little did they know what a turnout they would get. The outdoor venue includes a green where people can sit on blanket, or sit on the patios of the surrounding restaurants. The turnout was incredible, people filled the patios and the green.. It was an amazing evening. The event was sold out with standing room only! Spoons Cafe's new stage and sound system was awesome. We performed some of our originals and covers including our newest cover songs, Lisztomania by Phoenix and Tongue Tied by Group Love. David Beck and Paul Cauthen of Sons of Fathers played an acoustic performance that had the crowd rocking right with them! Their energy and charismatic personalities charmed the audience. David arrived early and got to hear us perform. Heidi, admires him as a songwriter and enjoyed meeting him and briefly discussed songwriting. We are grateful to Karen and Vickie at Spoons Cafe' for inviting us, it was a true honor to open for Sons of Fathers and to be the first performers on their new stage!
