The last few months have brought some large opportunities for Pause 456 as well as a bit of sadness. For those who don’t know, Rhonda has decided to leave the band. We are sure this has been as tough a decision for her as it has been a difficult one for us. We support Rhonda 100% and are so thankful to have her in our lives. Rhonda’s last show will be May 16th at Ballad Town Billiards in Forest Grove and we want to throw one hell of a shindig to send her off!
On a lighter note, We also want to take this time to tell you about the new things on the horizon for Pause 456. After going through a lengthy audition process, we have finally found a drummer. Replacing Rhonda was no easy feat! Sean “Bow” Bowen has stepped up to the task….so we are throwing him to the fire in Lake Oswego!!
We have become involved with a great organization known as “Live Artist Network”, these guys are all about the local music scene and are doing great things for musicians around the Portland area and beyond. We are playing a benefit concert for LAN on April 27th at the Gemini Bar and Grill in Lake Oswego! This is guaranteed to be a great night of music involving 13 Bands! As if that isn’t enough…there’s more… Thanks to Lyon Pride Music, Chris Black with LAN, and Erin Miller with RLM Entertainment, we have been given the opportunity to audition for one of the largest festivals in the northwest, The Seattle Hemp Fest. Come out to Cadigan’s Corner Bar in Portland at 7pm on April 29th and help support all the local bands involved in this. There will be tons of raffles!

We thank you all for your continued support. Without you, this would be meaningless!
Local rock band Pause 456 is seeking a mature seasoned drummer to accompany their infectious melodies. Covering a mix of rock styles, we play both cover songs and original tunes. We currently have regular gigs on the west side of town but are looking to branch out further into the Portland scene. We are promoted by several local promoters/distributors who are looking to book us gigs all around Portland, Vancouver and Seattle. We’re looking to use the next few months as a transition to fine tune our covers, write new songs, and round out our play list. Ability to sing backup vocals a plus but not required. You can find our music at: www.youtube.com/thepause456band If you’re interested, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
