After a long 2010, the new band CD is here!
North of Malibu ~ Greetings, Surflings! marks the band’s full-on entrance into a new era of power-surf-instro-thunder-rock. This album is sure to become a favorite amongst Third-Wavers & Surf Puritans alike. With a special guest appearance from “Memphis” Charlie Musselwhite, there are lots of left turns & new takes on old surf staples, and well as a healthy serving of original material.

Last night’s RRBC show was a success, but the “Live Streaming iPhone”
experiment left something to be desired. (Clips hang up, while the audio rolls along)
Fear not!
We had the foresight to enlist our buddy from Full Moon Productions, Mike Starkey to “man” the trusty GL2 and he captured some nice clips from the first 2 sets,
which we will upload here in the very near future.
Thanks again to everyone who made last night’s show a smashing success!

We're planning to stream the show Sunday night "Live from our iPhone" at The Russian River Brewing Co. on UStream.tv.
Check out our channel there entitled Route44's Show.
We'll give this a shot and if it proves to be an easy task, we will regularly stream and archive all our shows on our www.northofmalibu.com's webpage as well as UStream.tv's Route44 channel.

Just fighting a cold and making use of some downtime...
The new website is up and you should check it out and while you're there, sign up for our North of Malibu mailing list.
Once we get the ball rolling, no doubt, we'll be doing all kinds of promotions and giveaways, and we've got a lot of stuff to share with ya, including outtakes, quirky collectible items and who knows?, ..maybe even some studio time in our ProTools recording studio in Northern California!
