Hi folks, Just wished to say a massive thank you from the heart for all the support and positive vibes sent to me over the last few weeks. I really appreciate it- thank you.

Also, just to let you know that I will be hopefully uploading my latest EP Crossing the River this weekend, 5 acoustic guitars based instrumental tracks played on 6 and 12 string guitar. I hope everyone likes it enough to download a couple of tracks or even the entire thing!!

Within the next couple of months I also hope to have my other EP Songs from a Sunken Island out there, too. This is a songs based EP including 3 new tracks and a radical reworking of my tune: Whatever to the protest songs.

New year

Hi Folks, I just wished to give a seriously big thank you to everyone who has listened in to my music here on ReverbNation. Honestly, the support I have received over the past few months has touched, encouraged, humbled and helped me massively.

The coming of a New Year often means new starts and, In a few days, I start a new job. This will mean needing to get up to speed with new ways of doing things etc. Given this, it may take me a little longer for me to respond to any comments etc. Bear with me, however, because I do value our connection and will get back asap.

Musically, I may have a little less time for a while to devote to what I love most. As always I will, though, be composing as I go about my day and grabbing whatever time I can to play and record. As I’ve realised even more profoundly over the past few months, Jobs are essential, of course, but music and friends are the very stuff of life.

Meantime, stay well and creative into 2013 and beyond.

Hi Folks, I hope everyone is well. I just wished to offer everyone my best wishes of the season, and to say thank you for the unexpected support and positive comments I have received since joining this site..Finally I wish to tlet you know that I have posted a new song 'The Hull Diana', which I hope everyone enjoys. The story behind the song goes something like this: in 1866, while on a whaling expedition in Baffin Bay, the Hull ship Diana became frozen in the ice, where it was trapped for over six months including Christmas Day. Finally, the ice began to thaw and the ship drifted southwards. on the evening of the 1st April 1867 the crew had their first sighting of the west coast of Shetland and the next day arrived into Ronas Voe. In total thirteen of the Diana's crew died, eight (including the Captain) passed away on deck and the others died soon after their arrival. The Diana's disastrous voyage signalled the end of Hull's whaling industry. Humber Blues EP

Hi Folks, Hope everyone is OK. Just to let you know that I have uploaded a home recorded EP of acoustic guitar instrumentals here and on bandcamp (it's free on bandcamp!). I'm guessing that this will keep me going musically until I am able to book some time in the studio with my friends at musikerrecords in the new year. Please have a listen and download if you wish.

EP update

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all OK and staying creative.Just a quick update on the forthcoming EP...artwork proved more tricky than expected, but now all done from our side.(Thanks to my very ITC capable daughters!) I'm expecting to have everything with the printer/CD duplicator this week. Following this, it should be only a couple of days before it's out there!! Strange, but I feel ready to begin thinking/recording the next one already:)

EP upate

Hi, Hope everyone is OK, and continuing to make great music.

Juts to inform that we've now decided on pic/artwork for forthcoming EP, and are busy trying to get the dimensions right before submitting to the printers. Need to get this right evidently, otherwise we get charged extra:( On the positive side, looks like we will have room to include some lyrics, which is great.
