This weekend saw us back in the studio at Manchester Records, putting the finishing touches to new track Drowning, which we hope to release fairly soon once we have decided on (and made!) the video to go with it. We also got to lay down the drums and bass tracks for our newest track. More details on this soon, but we think you are going to like it! Each session seems to have a different type of biscuit involved with it, and this time the Chocolate Hob Nob took centre stage and was thoroughly enjoyed by all :-) More rehearsal sessions are planned for this week as we gear up for Saturdays gig at Dry Live which we are hoping will be an awesome event. Hopefully see you there and maybe, just maybe, we will play one or two new tunes.
We have been in the studio recently staring work on some new tracks which we think you are going to love! We will also have some Video to go with at least one of the new tracks, and hopefully a recording of one of our live shows! 2013 is already shaping up to be a good year for us, with several big shows already in the diary, details soon. This along with continuing the studio work will hopefully help us step things up a gear.
Did you go? Friday night at the Night and Day Cafe supporting The Rubys was absolutely awesome! One of, if not the, best gigs we have played at. Our set went down well, the new songs are improving :-) The Rubys tore the place apart! the whole place went wild for them! To top it all off the BBC showed up to film some shots for an article on the change in music licensing laws. It aired this morning several times on BBC Breakfast! Lots of shots of us and The Rubys and an interview with Lee Hunter, Lead Singer with The Rubys.
Well today is the day and we are all super excited! We get to support The Rubys at the launch of their new single Shake You Free at The Night And Day Manchester. Its going to be awesome. The gig sold out weeks ago so the place should be rockin' if you managed to secure a ticket then you are in for a great night of music and dont forget to buy your copy of The Rubys new single...lets see it charting :)
Well we spent the weekend gigging for Salford Music Festival, starting Friday at The Crescent which was a great venue but the wound was a little lacking. Next up was Wangies in Eccles on Sunday which was a great venue! Whilst there we were asked if we could help out by playing another set down at The Ship in Irlam as a band had dropped out! After a little deliberation we finished our set and drove down to The Ship, which was a massive pub with a stage...and a HUGE sound!
