See Through - song lyrics

My box of secrets open The skeletons have come out The closet door’s wide open Not a thing I can do about it

I know you see right thru me Through the truth and lies alike And maybe its just time to say goodbye Believe me I have tried Believe me I do try

No choice in the matter Picture worth a thousand words Everything gets scattered I’ll fly away with the birds

I know you see right through me You’ve searched until you found The dirt that needed digging You reached the underground

I know you see right through me You’ve searched until you found The dirt that needed digging You reached the underground

The Dirty Listen- song lyrics

There is something inside you that makes me want to wait Sometimes I swear I can’t decide if it’s love or hate You have been a good friend Though judgmental you may be I have felt your wrath and your warmth simultaneously

Now I’m alone and drunk A little dirty with my thoughts The edge is near-- a blurry near But I don’t give it a thought You have told me things that I know No one should hear

But only the dirty listen to your dirty thoughts my dear

I’m sure there has been wonder of what’s it all about It’s like a drug to take you under- then empty and spit you you can’t help but miss all the dirty that you had

Alone tonight it’s a different life but the dirty life ain’t bad

You know I wrote a book that no one can hear It’s filled with dirty secrets, dirty lies and dirty fears So sit down by my side and let my stories fill your ears

But only the dirty listen to MY dirty thoughts my dear

Yes only the dirty listen to MY dirty thoughts my dear

In addition to taking our music seriously, we also put a lot of thought and effort into our image and wardrobe. We want to make sure that we give the crowd something to look at while they listen to our music. To that end, we try to make sure that we wear clothes that will make the crowd know we are the band the moment we walk in the door at the venue. In keeping with our music style we've been trying to gather vintage clothes that match our sound. Brian has his uncle's 3 piece white suit from the 70s, and recently obtained an old tuxedo with coattails and Jessi has gathered several vintage dresses. We've got a professional photographer friend taking our pictures for us this Sunday at the village at the Ohio Historical Society. We're sure we'll get some good shots in our new outfits that will be great for press kits, fliers and sharing with you all online. Keep your eye out.
