Album on the way... finally!

I've been tracking at MazMusic Productions for the past 7 months or so, finally getting this album DONE. I would say I've got about another 3 months of tracking, with two months or so of mixing. I'm hoping to have my CD release in September of this year. I don't have any huge ambitions of being a rockstar. I'm strictly doing this for myself, as an artistic outlet. If success comes knocking, all the better. I'm hoping to get my own backing band going soon. I've long been a member of various other backing bands, but have never had one of my own. Here's hoping I can meet some like-minded musicians!

Back in action!

Here's a quick blurb about what I've been up to: Playing in a few bands now, Easy Street (classic blues and rock), Breakout (hard and classic rock) and filling in for Loaded Dice (hard and classic rock). We've got a number of bookings already set with more to come. I've also got a few solo shows booked, and I'll hopefully be adding more in the coming months. I'm also working on a few other projects on the go, including an all-acoustic band that doesn't yet have a name, but is definitly unique, and a Tragically Hip tribute band. I'm hoping these two projects will debut soon! In the meantime, I'm going to be taking down some of the older songs on this page, and putting some new ones up. Some of them are actually the same songs, just newer versions of them. All basslines were recorded by Olivier Leblanc, a great local bass player and good buddy of mine. As always, feel free to say hi whenever you see me at a show. I've been getting out a lot lately, and have been making a lot of new friends, and it's been some of the best times I've had in the past while. Definitly thankful for all of the oppurtunities I've come upon. Just want to give a quick shout out to a few people, and to give many thanks to them: Larry, Chris, Piero, Stephane C, Stephane T, Alain, Don, Paul and Freddie, all of whom I've been rocking stages with the past little while. All them amazing people and musicians! Rock on, fellas! Ryan

New Songs and stuff!

Hey people! I've been pretty productive this weekend, adding some new songs and remixing/editing some that I've had up here already. Things are going pretty good. I'm hoping to actually put out my CD sometime next year... early next year, hopefully. I kind of gave myself a deadline. So it kind of gets me off my butt more often. Anyways, I hope everyone's enjoying the songs. Let me know what you think! There's more to come. I've got probably another 5 or 6 that have to be recorded, one that's currently being recorded, and maybe a few more that are kind of ideas or thoughts that might turn into songs. Then I have to sort of pick the best ones and put them in order for the album! Pretty exciting! Keep checking back regularly for more updates! Thanks again for all the support! Ryan

Two new songs! Playing the Studio 700 July 24th!

Hey everyone, just wanted to point your attention to my two new songs, 'Helping Hand' and 'Dogsledding in the Moonlight'. 'Dogsledding' is my first instrumental, and I'm feeling pretty happy about it. 'Helping' is a brand new song that came together over the past couple of days, and I'm actually pretty happy with this one too. Also, I'm playing over at the Studio 700 Song Artist Hour on July 24th, at 9:30 PM. So, if you're not doing anything, stop on by and give me a hard time! Talk to you guys soon! And thanks for all the support! Ryan
