It's good to back on Reverbnation. We drifted away for a while, but now we're back with our new music, pictures and videos. Gigs for the summer and fall are starting to line up, so stay tuned for all our new show dates and times. We've had a great response since we've been back, so visit early and often; new media is being updated daily.
Greetings from Duty Free,
Now this is exciting, our first blog! Well, after almost six years, we are finally taking our first break in order to get refreshed and write some new tunes. I just want to take the time to say thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years (you know who you are, too many to name). From the dirty basements of UNH frat houses and midnight shows at the Charles Playhouse to the Amsterjam Festival and CBGB's in New York City. The dedication from all of you have really kept us going. As you may have noticed, the line-up has changed a little bit over the last year. We would like to welcome Jake on the drums (World's Collide, Blackbelt), Timmy on keys (The Cling, Nikolydon) and Eric S. on keys as well (Funkfoot). Their new input in this band has been phenomenal, and really brought a new energy to this band. Our new album is out, (finally) and we hope you all buy it. Its got some new tunes and some old favorites as well. I also want to give mad props to the contribution of two former Duty Free members Eric Boulter and Tom Benson. You can check out Eric's new project The Ghost Dinner Band on (myspace.com) as we wish him the very best in the future. Anyone seen Tommy? We will be starting a "Where's Tommy" site where people can take random cell phone picts and log Tommy sightings where ever they may see him (i think he's hiding with Waldo). Anyway, we will be back. Hope to see most of you in Keene, NH for Pumpkinfest 08 or in Dover for the Kelley's Row show in November. Until then.......
