Leslie Ann Ferguson was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and raised in a small town called Campbellton, New Brunswick. Music has always been a large part of her life, playing in bands, variety shows, cafe's and bars since the age of 12. She received her Bachelor of Music and Fine Arts Degree at Bishop's University in Lennoxville Quebec and continued to receive her Communications degree in Woodstock New Brunswick.
While attending college in Woodstock Leslie Ann and her group "The Halftones" won a talent show; "Campus on Stage" for their region and traveled to Montreal where they were filmed at "The Spectrum" airing on CBC television nation wide. The Halftones performed "She Breaks".
Leslie Ann's songs have been described as heart wrenching, chilling and provocative. When she sings she has the ability to touch people's hearts and evoke an emotional response at times bringing them to tears.
Leslie now resides in Ottawa, Ontario and has come out of retirement to share her beautiful messages and voice with the world.
