"All Folked Up"....etc...

I’ll be performing at the monthly “Art Walk” show at the Manhan Café in Easthampton this Friday January 10th along with Richard Evers and a “player to be named later”. These shows are early (starting at 6:00PM) and are always a lot of fun. I’d like to thank everyone who has attended and everyone who has participated in the “All Folked Up” show at the Thirsty Mind in South Hadley Center. We’ve bee able to book some of the best singer/songwriters in our valley. Past performers include: Ed Vadas, A.J. Rubino, Jamie Brockett, Anand Nayak, Sheryl Stanton, Robin O’Herin, Lisa Martin, Peter Lehndorf, Greg Aleander, Christa Joy, John Compton, etc…. As always, the show is on the last Friday of each month and starts at 7:00PM. At this month’s “in the round” performance (January 31st) I will be joined by Jay Mankita and Bruce King. If you have any suggestions about future guests, drop me a line – in the mean time, stop by and enjoy the show!

"All Folked Up"

The closing of The Black Moon Music Lounge is a loss that will be felt by many of us who just loved the place, but already life is going on. Larry Dulong has moved his Monday night “open mic” to the Shuresbury Athletic Club! Last Monday’s inaugural event seems to have been a great success and next Monday I will be filling in for Larry at the AC. Our “all folked up” shows at The Black Moon were a great success. Every fourth Friday evening we assembled three New England folk musicians and performed in the round. These shows were a lot of fun to do and were always well attended. Our guests included: Christa Joy, A.J. Rubino, Bruce King, Ed Vadas, Keith Tew, Bruce Colegrove, Jennie McEvoy, Peter Lehndorf, to name just a few. I am pleased to announce that starting in April, our “all folked up” shows are scheduled to resume at the Thirsty Mind in South Hadley Center. Keep your eyes open for further announcements.
