Just a line to say how good it is to be back in the saddle so to speak, concerning the recording of new material for my next solo release. "Many troubles, trials and snares I have already come" but juices are flowing and here comes a new chapter in a good on going journey! Looking forward to delivering to my fans. BW
Thank you to all of my friends and fans who have been sending us your well wishes and keeping us in your prayers. Our sweet little miracle granddaughter came a little over 5 weeks early via an emergency c-section following a horrible car accident. We were blessed with her presence for 2 days before she peacefully passed away in the arms of her parents. Eliana ~ will be missed in the physical form more than words can ever express but she left such an immeasurable imprint on all of our hearts that she will always be with us in spirit. I am in the studio finishing up the recording of her song now. I will upload it to share with you the beauty and heart of love that is “Eliana” sometime after her memorial service. Please continue to pray for our family as we grieve this tragic loss. ♥
For Immediate Release July 8, 2011 ARE YOU SOMEBODY’S SHAWTY? Well, I can tell you who’s not; comedian, actress, singer extraordinaire Debra Terry (of international notarity in the standup comedy world). Terry declares she is “Nobody’s Shawty” in this same titled single and video release. Debra Terry teamed up with performance artist Britt Warren (known for his intricate and energetic guitar instrumentals) and they have knocked the ball out of the park with this indie single, “Nobody’s Shawty” complete with video (available for viewing now on youtube) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfKFQIL1V9w in which Terry definitely shows her likeability by the camera. Warren and cronies created one of the most infectious funk tracks I’ve ever heard - and I’ve heard alot. Check this single out and tell your friends. There are surprise appearances as well as guests on the track. "Hot Pursuit" took first place in Broadjam/GP Picks contest #4. "Warren grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go, but his approach delightfully mates macho aggro riffs with sweet melodies and a soaring tone that lets every note he plays speak with authority." pg 24 June 29, 2009 Guitar Player Mag. My sincere "Thanks" to the Broadjam Community for the opportunity.
