Shows, interviews, ministry and a partridge in a pear tree!

Hey y'all! I hope everyone is doing well. Life is certainly busy and I couldn't be more thankful. I enjoy reading your messages and am appreciative for all the new friends and fans. God opened the door for my first internet radio interview with BNNSradio. Host William Villont was very kind and we had a good time talking about the ministry as well as my own family. My mother had a music career back in the 60's. She was able to work with the Four Seasons (Known then as The Four Lovers) as well as record her own songs and perform on a regular basis. God is bringing the ministry a few hours away into PA this Saturday. Our first real road trip! Also, on Mothers Day weekend we will be playing for over a thousand people at Gloucester County Community Church's Saturday and Sunday services. God has been teaching me that this truly is a ministry. Once I lose this vision and perspective then it becomes all about me. And that's never a good thing. God blesses the humble and indeed opposes the proud. We've all seen it. Who likes a self-absorbed person anyway??? So, I pray you are all walking in the Lord with joy and peace. God bless!

It's that time of year

I am finally done my Christmas shopping and I hope you are too. I've been trying to enjoy the season and not be so stressed but it's hard to do. I actually enjoyed wrapping all the gifts as I drank some coffee and listened to great Christmas music. I released my first Christmas single, "Christmas Wish" and it seems to be doing very well. This year will be the first for me away from family as I will be singing at church. Being an Italian, Christmas Eve is the big night with the seven fishes if you know what I'm talking about! But I'm happy to serve my church. "Christmas Wish" is about just that. Being away from family during the Christmas season. So if this you my heart goes to you. Praying for a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. Love Dez.

Prayers Answered

The Lord definitely cares about the smallest details of our lives. He cares about our dreams and the means to make those dreams come to life. Not all dreams are motivated by selfish ambition, but if they are then the Lord is capable of handling that! Well my dream since I was young was to write, record and perform my own music. All three came at separate stages and the last of the three is unfolding currently. The Lord dropped seven wonderful musicians into my lap recently. They agreed to help me perform my music and so far we have played two shows together with more on the way. The Lord is opening so many doors of opportunity that its overwhelming and has even brought some us to tears. My encouragement to you is to not give up on life and what you know you should be doing with it. The Lord does hear your prayers. The Lord loves you and has a future for you. God bless.

A challenging and exciting year

Hello Fans!

This year has been a whirlwind of craziness! My husband and I began writing and recording my debut album in August 2010. We have had a lot of trials and set backs. First, we got married. HA! Not so much a set back but planning a wedding is not easy for a recording artist. After our honeymoon we kicked the production into full gear. The Lord has blessed us with places to perform and brought people into my life that I can minister to and have ministered to me. I was also diagnosed with vertigo in May which was one of the most horrifying times of my life. My panic and anxiety shot through the roof but I am still here and still pushing forward. We are starting to see small tastes of success in our music endeavor, but as God showed me, it isn't about success as much as it is about having a relationship with Him. God bless you all. Thank you for reading the whole thing! Lol. - Dez
