Just thought I'd share the experience that I had on July 22nd, 2012, Youth Day. It was soo great. Huge crowds, loud music, amazing artists. It was slightly overwhelming to be honest. But at the same time, great to be there.
I performed the new version of my single "Believe" at Youth Day. It was the best feeling ever, being able to sing your very own song. It makes you sing that much better, since you really know what the song is about, and you can really get the message across to all those fans out there in the audience.
There was a huge amount of incredibly talented artists there. It was cool to see how they expressed their songs to others. You know, every artist is unique and it was amazing to see that uniqueness in every one of those artists. Some were worse than others, but you know, I don't judge, someone has to start somewhere! Some may have that naturally born talent, others have to work crazy hard. It's a diverse world I tell you, the world of artists.
Long story short, I had a great time at Youth Day, performing Believe. The crowd was sooo good, and they absolutely loved the song, which made me love "Believe" even more than I already do.
Also just wanted to thank anyone who came down to Dundas Square on July 22nd, seeing that many people, listening enjoying and cheering on was a beautiful site. So thank you, for inspiring us artists to do better and to keep pushing forward!
Love you guys! And thanks for the tremendous support!
I'm honestly sooo excited! Going to Ottawa, but not only for the Juno awards, but to busk in the streets and play at local pubs and restaurants! It's pretty damn cool, since a lot of stars and big people will be roaming around, so I might just get a chance to meet and greet! I'll let you know if anything happens ;)
For Friday I'll be performing my originals and some covers at the New Edinburgh Pub, which should be pretty exciting :) If you're in Ottawa for the weekend, come check me out @ 1 Beechwood Avenue @ 8:30pm!
Then on Saturday, Imma go busking in the streets ;) and at around 8:00pm, I'll be performing at Forno Antico Authentic Pizzeria which is on 683 Bronson Ave (at Carling Ave). Come and enjoy some quality music :) I really hope to see you there!
I'll fill all of you in on the fun and I'll be posting pics and making vids! So keep an eye out !!
Well you know what I'm about to say ;)

It's been such a busy month for me and it continues to be! I've been making a bunch of vids as you guys have probably seen. If you haven't seen them, stop by to take a listen to a cover of "Broken Arrow" and a new take on my acoustic version of my original "Believe." I also made it to the finals of the "Amateur Singing Contest with John Santos" (check John's site out when you have time: www.ascjs.com) this month and am actually headed today to do a bunch of tv interviews! Should be fun :)
