T-shirt Design Finished!!

Thanks to Bret Weese @ Chaos Art Design, we now have a brand new t-shirt design that is nearly ready for print. We can't wait to have the Tees available for our friends and fans at our upcoming shows! More merch will slowly be brought into the mix but this will be a great start. There will be limited printings of this first design so get yours early! Keep an eye out for availability and prices soon!

D:Void design contest!

Calling all graphic designers! Destination: Void needs your art for our next t-shirt design and album cover! But we thought we'd do things a little different this time. Instead of comissioning just one of you we thought we'd turn this into a little contest. This keeps you guys producing quality work and adds a bit of excitement and competition to the whole process. In the end there will be two winning designs. One for best shirt design and one for best cover art. As the winner you will be paid $100 per (final) winning design. This being said, you can enter designs for both categories and it is totally possible for you to win both!

As far as styles go, we are looking for artwork that represents what D:Void is about. Positivity, Existentialism, Evolution, Renewal, Empowerment, things along those lines. Also we are looking for a theme of the Organic vs. The Synthetic, Good vs. Evil, Man vs. Machine. Although appreciated, we would prefer to not have any gore/horror art or satanic/religious imagery. Thanks for keeping that in mind. Well, I think that about covers it. We hope that you guys are looking forward to a bit of friendly competition and we can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

If interested in submitting a design send your enty to destinationvoid207@hotmail.com. Make sure to put "design contest" in the subject line. When submitting a design please make it clear which category you are submitting it for (shirt/cover) and remember to add all your personal contact info (including website if applicable). The deadline for all entries will be June 16th so there is no time to waste! Thanks and good luck to all!

The Void meets The Rest!

This has been in the works for a while and it's finally happening! Our friends from The Rest The South And The West are getting ready to drop their debut CD/DVD combo "Hubris" and we saw this as a reason to celebrate! So on June 23rd we'll be sharing the stage with them at Racks Sports Bar and Grille in Portland, ME. Come check them out and support local music! One Love -D:Void

Heavy Metal Monday Madness!

We could not have asked for a better return to the stage! Thanks to all our friends and family that came out to support us. You guys truly made it an experience to remember. Even though we had some slight technical difficulties the crowd response was amazing and we really appreciate all the love! It was good to see a good turnout at HMM and we hope that it will remain a strong platform for local metal bands to get their feet wet and build a solid local fanbase. If it wasnt for the fans and promoters dedicating time and energy to the scene, there would be no local scene. So thank you to all of you for making it possible for us to do what we love to do. One Love and Namaste -D:V

D:Void announces debut show!

We're proud to announce that we'll be playing our first official show on Monday march 19th! We'll be playing with Saturn's Return, Breeding Strength and Ripfence at Heavy Metal Monday @ the Asylum in Portland, ME. Heavy Metal Monday has long been a staple of the Portland music scene and we're proud to once again be a part of it. It's a free show so we hope to see all you guys out there Monday night! Much love and Namaste!

Destination: Void announces new bass player!

Destination: Void is sad to announce that John Pagano is leaving the band due to unforseen circumstances. We wish John all the best on his move and his new, and future ventures. We want to thank him for all the time and talent that he invested in Destination: Void and hope that our paths may cross again in the future. On the flip side, D:Void is happy to announce that Grant Dodge will be joining us on bass. We are excited to see where Grant's enthusiasm and talent will take Destination: Void in 2012. We want to thank both john and Grant for allowing us to share in their passion for music and make Destination: Void what it has become. Keep checking in for more news! Peace and Namaste -D:Void
